The shorts are made of a high quality fabric and felt great when I first put them on. They are cut low in the front and you definitely will want to wear a tri top that come down to your hip bones to cover. When I swam in them it felt like just a bathing suit and they were very comfortable. I normally wear a Small in athletic apparel and that is what I ordered in these shorts and they worked great.

I purchased these shorts for my first triathlon because I did not want to wear the bikini bottoms or really short shorts.

I also purchased the matching top. I was able to do all legs in this suit and was very happy and comfortable during all events. The shorts have non-slip grips on the legs that don''t ride up but aren''t too tight either. I continue to wear the shorts to the gym and love that I can workout/swim and then teach my cycling class without having to change clothes every time. I will be purchasing in additional colors. Also happy the shorts run true to size ordered a large and they are perfect fit.

These shorts fit and feel the best of any tri shorts I have bought. I like the low front and the high back. I don''t have to worry about the back slipping too low when I am on the bike. The padding is also fairly thin, which is nice because it doesn''t feel ridiculous. I am 5''4 and 120 lbs and I ordered a medium. I probably could have gotten a small, but I don''t like the shorts too tight.

The company took awhile to ship the product. They didn''t seem to hurry with shipping which was a little disappointing. The product itself was very comfortable and I was excited to test them out with my upcoming race season. I wore them once during a practice ride and then my first tri of the season. The legs seemed to be stretched out and the Pearl Izumi name on the side is already peeling off. I have contacted the Pearl Izumi company since they have a lifetime warranty. I am now having to return the item to a local authorized dealer to get these returned.
