TYR Sport Women''s Reversible Solid Diamondback Swim Suit

I love the concept of the reversible suit, and I love Tyr styling. But my experience with this suit and the solid-color single-layer version of the same style, is that the fabric doesn''t hold up very well over time--and not a LOT of time, either. I swim 3 times a week, for an hour each time, and within 4-6 weeks, this suit had become a "drag suit"! After every flip turn, the lower half of the suit fills up with water and/or air, and then I drag it along with me. I tell myself this just makes for better training, but it''s disappointing to have super-cute suit go bad so fast. Other than that, I love this suit. I just wish Tyr would amp up the fabric a bit (I have yet to try their long-lasting suit, like Speedo''s Endurance fabric).

I have a number of regular TYR suits, but this one is a real treat. Because it is reversible, it is double thickness, which I find very comfortable and secure. Plus the edge striping is beautiful. A great suit, I would like a whole drawer-full!

Fits perfectly I got mine in size 36 color blue and red , After trying on the ugliest swimsuits from target I went to sports authority and found this brand there but there were $79.00 plus tax "so expensive" so I just try them on to find the right size, left that place and order one from amazon, I save myself 40 bucks. I''m so happy with it My sister who lives in Spain wants one too.

This suit lasted me through my freshman year swim season for practicing, practicing 2 1/2 hours per day, 5 days a week for a couple months. I went into my sophomore year water polo season without a suit thinking i could wear this one, but it was just completely worn out. Also, the blue side gets faded if you wear out the black side. this means, that when you wear the black side out a lot, the blue side on the inside gets faded wherever your body touches it, so it makes marks where your boobs and stomach and but and hip are, so after a while, you can''t wear the blue side. But, don''t worry, this sounds like a bad review, but in reality, this is a great suit. it''s really comfortable and fits nicely without giving you a wedgie. Good buy.

I have tried many other swimsuits and always return to TYR''s doublesided reversible swim suits because they are the most comfortable and supportive suit. The only problem I have had is they do seem to wear out within one season, especially if worn a few times a week a work horse suit in a swimming pool. They last only slightly longer if rinsed or washed out after each use. I have heard the Speedo suits last longer but I find them to be not nearly as comfortable as the TYR''s reversible suits.
