This water bottle has a great 1950''s design. Not only does it make fun of those who drink expensive bottled water but also those who insist upon expensive $25.00 "sig-type" water bottles. The cap fits on tight and it''s a good size. I did have a friend who used one exhaustively and the design did start to wear off, however.Read Best Reviews of Accoutrements Mr. Tap Water Bottle Here

I just got the CPR and used it immediately. It made Pilates much easier and much more effective. My wife also used it and found the DvD easy to follow.Mari''s workout was fun and challenging. We certainly felt the effects in our core but also in our arms and legs. This is a great workout and I highly recommend it.This routine works every part of your body and it definately takes Pilates to a new level. Pilates is very good for toning and stretching the muscles and this reformer adds more challenge to the routine which makes it more fun. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that I find myself getting my feet caught in the cords during the changes to the next exercise and that is kind of frustrating. We aren''t all graceful dancers so sometimes I have to stop the dvd to get situated for the next exercise. I expect that over time I''ll get better at it but I''d rather be focused on practicing my Pilates moves and not have to stop to get my cords right. I''ll keep working on it though because I like the way the Reformer challenges the muscles. The CorePlus Reformer is quite challenging, even for those proficient in Pilates. The DVD workout is helpful, but it was a bit difficult trying to watch the DVD while performing the exercises. The grips seemed to slide around somewhat, which was distracting and made it sometimes difficult to execute the exercises correctly. I would definitely recommend it but would caution beginners to go easy.
adidas Men''s Response Astro Pant
Back they go.
They look well made, but be wary about the leg size, they were considerably longer in the leg than a 32" which is what I was expecting. This may be product variability of course, but, caveat emptor. I will exchange for a smaller size, and hope the legs stretch out a bit. I dont fancy my bits being overly compressed though, the whole banana hammock thing is not overly good to wear with kids around, or talking to neighbours, or seeing attractive female runners, etc...First, as other reviewers have noted, these pants run a bit snug in the upper thigh and crotch area. This material is labeled Climacool, like many other Adidas products, but in this product, it''s a thin, silky, stretchy material that is most like a very thin, drapy runner''s tight. The material is very stretchy, and let''s just say that no one will have any trouble seeing more than you intend, if you wear thin underwear. The material can be VERY revealing. I plan to wear running shorts underneath, maybe even a heavy runner''s tight. Just know that you will need something under these, if you plan to wear them where anyone else will see (too much of) you.
My wife and I both thought they looked great on, otherwise. The pants have a cool design on the sides of the legs, and the this zipper down the back of the leg looks really neat, in person. The material is comfortable and light, and I absolutely love the way it feels. But, you have to know about the overly revealing material first and worry about fit and appearance second.

i like them a lot but afraid they will not last longer ..By reading some comments on the pants, decided to buy a bigger size than what I''d need for it''s fit on waist, but the legs are way too long.I bought these pants for my 5''9" twelve year old son, and the fit was perfect and they looked great on him (mens small)
Timex Ironman Target Trainer Watch
this is a fairly large but very handsome watch. the numbers are easy to read and indiglo makes it easy to read it at night.
A couple of gripes... nothing serious
1. setting up takes a little time. RTfm really applies here.
2. the website doesn''t teach how to use the watch''s features in any fashion. this is a complaint i have about all HRM manufacturers.
3. the gray color is really nice. go with gray it stands out.
If you are looking for a mid-level HRM. the timex target trainer is a great option. After some fairly lengthy research and deliberation, I decided upon this HRM among various brands and options available.
Pros for the TAP target trainer-Large display with easy to read digits. Heart rate can be displayed as largest numbers in the middle or at the top above the time or chrono. Quickly links up to the heart rate upon turning it on. easy to push buttons.
Cons: The heart rate strap tends to rub a raw spot on me near its lower right corner. Not sure if this is specific to this strap and monitor, as it''s my first ever hrm. Only once has the tap function spontaneously advanced. (I have it on the medium setting). Manual is not terribly helpful, but I usually lose patience if a manual is too long.
Overall, I''m very pleased with this watch/monitor. Being familiar with other timex ironman watches did make it easier to set. I do use ultrasound/contact gel on the back of the strap for a more consistent connection to my skin. I run approx 30m/wk with this monitor.

StairMaster SM916 StepMill
The stair stepper is about 6 feet tall and requires a lot of head room. Therefore, it is not a machine for a home gym with low ceilings! The control panel allows you to set a custom program or use a variety of standard programs. Read-outs give steps per minute, total miles, total floors, total calories, and METS. The panel is easy to use. There are two cup holders adjacent to the panel for water/liquids. You need the water because within 3-4 minutes sweat beads start popping out, and within 10 minutes your shirt will be wet. Of course, it all depends on how fast you want to go. The machine will go very slow, or when cranked up, will cause you to literally run up the moving stairs. You can adjust the step speed on the go up or down easily. The machine is quite stable with no wobble. There are two of these machines at the gym, and I frequently found one or the other was "down" for repair. I do not know how this reflects for the individual owner, as a gym machine gets used far more than a home unit would.
This is a top-notch cardio workout. Your heart has to work hard to move upwards against gravity, so you will burn maximal calories as you literally climb the hill of (endless) steps before you. Each step is about 10 inches. Climbing stairs works the quads and calf muscles exclusively, and these burn mega-calories! The side hand rails are extremely useful, as one uses them for balance and to lean on to work the upper body a bit. Ideally, the posture should be upright, but inevitably, I found myself leaning forward with weight on my forearms as the workout progressed.
There is a definite risk of injury using this machine. One could fall off backwards or trip and fall on the stairs. The shut off lanyand is mandatory when using the machine for safety.
The biggest drawback to ownership is the huge price tag. I''d have this machine if I was wealthy, but for the time being, I will use the one at the gym. Saving my pennies ... maybe when I am 80 years old I''ll have enough to get a used one.
konedogI do not own one of these but I so would if I could justify the living space it would take up and the cost. I use it at the local gym every night and it has so much calorie burning power. The downside is you can''t just mentally turn off during the workout, you have to know your steps and pace or toes get squashed...
These stairmaster machines are super tall also, would require more than an 8'' ceiling because you''d hit your head no doubt. LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine!

I can''t conceive of spending this much money on a cardio machine for home use, but I use this product at the gym and love it. In addition to manual settings, it has several pre-programmed regimens. For each regimen, you can choose an amount of time and a difficulty level from 1 to 20. The interface is user-friendly and flexible, and has all the displays one would expect calories, distance (in miles and floors), steps per minute, etc.If you''re considering purchasing this machine for your individual use or for your family, my recommendation would be to join a gym that has it, as it is really too expensive to justify a purchase for an individual. I go to 24-Hour and all their locations have these.

Stopped working shortly after purchase, poor quality especially when this is used while working out. I would not recommend this product to anyone else! The heart monitor funcion to get the heart rate works intermittently. The ability to get a heart rate was the reason I purchased this watch, but it does not work during exercise. I can only get it to work while resting, and then it takes over 6 seconds of holding two buttons down, and does not work every time. I plan to return it as I paid $84.59 (with shipping and handling) and expected a decent heart monitor watch. I do not recommend this product because it does not work as a heart monitor and is too expensive for a watch.I have often used this watch on a treadmill which simultaneously measures my HR. Also used it while taking stress test. It''s easy to exericse (at least on a treadmill or walking) and use the watch at the same time--no need to stop. For me, it''s been accurate 90% of the time, identical readings as from cardio leads.Champion Men''s Rugby Short

its good short for the gym but its very big size for L sizebuy M size if you want L size as perfictI ordered the Heather Shorts, which are only 50% cotton. I prefer 100% cotton cloth, especially at this price. However, THE ELASTIC is NOT ENCLOSED in cloth. WHY? It couldnt have cost the company more than a few pennies, and would have made the shorts far more comfortable. Elastic doesnt absorb sweat, and its actually painful on my skin. For this price, the workmanship and design is a joke. These are MADE IN HONDURAS. "CHAMPION" used to be a good name for sports clothing, but no more. Someone in that company desided they could save money using underpaid 3rd world workers, while cutting corners with quality. The ONLY WAY companies like this will stop producing sub-standard products, for inflated prices, is if we refuse to purchase their junk. Eventually, they will get the message, and deliver quality mercandise to the consumer. We DO have a voice. Amazon sells SOFFE shorts, that are all cotton, and very comfortable. I''d recommend those, for pretty much the same price.Much to long for actually playing rugby. Too long to lift by, lots of material to be grabbed (and pulled off) by an opponent...if they''re not too busy laughing you off the pitch.

Weider 2980 x Weight System
Instead, I used the online form to request that they send me the blister pack 2 of three. I gave the product number and serial number and a very clear description of what was missing.
The response I received was astonishing. Their support representatives do not have access to a parts list, and are unable to fulfill a request for "blister pack 2 of three". They suggested that then only way they could produce the missing parts would be for me, the customer, to reverse engineer their bill of materials from the steps in the manual! This means, find the steps that had parts from blister pack 2 and build a list of the parts for them. I was flabbergasted.
I can''t decide whether it is laziness, stupidity or malice. First of all, they should have access to at least the BOM for the machine in question. Secondly, it should be trivial for them to call someone and ask "hey, what''s on blister pack 2 of three for the 2980x?". Perhaps it''s the language barrier with the Chinese child who packed the box?
So, I went ahead and spent an hour putting that list together today and sent it to him. I hope it is accurate. That''s an hour of my life that I''ll never get back, all the while seething at the insipid foolishness of Weider customer support.
I own a company that has a customer support function. This little exchange will be used for training purposes on what NOT to do.
I am currently awaiting their next excuse.

Machine is exactly what I need to tone up! Not for body builders with max of 214 lbs. Took around 6 hrs to assemble by myself. The graphics in the instructions are not perfect. I purchased this via Kmart online for about $210 bucks. Drove to my local Kmart and loaded the huge box in my Truck. Took about 3.5 hours to assemble. It is an OK weight system for what it is. Easy to use, functions well.Want Weider 2980 x Weight System Discount?
I bought this, put it together and have used it a few times now. There are reviews out there that this is hard to assemble. It is not terribly difficult. I did it with my 4 year old daughter in about 4 hours. She helped unpack and hand me stuff, it was a nice little activity.... If you follow the directions, get/use the appropriate tools, and get the parts identified, it''s not bad at all. I got rid of a bench and a bunch of weights/bars/etc. that were taking up a ton of space and I didn''t really use anymore.Necessary items they don''t really tell you that will make it easier a socket/rachet set 1/2 in and 5/8 I believe are all you need. Oh a a screwdriver for the tower covers that actually fits the self tapping screws properly (this was the biggest pain, w/o the right philips head, they tend to strip or be difficult).
Pros:
Space savings, it''s compact and self contained.
It does a decent amount of basic exercises.
It looks nice..
Nuts and bolts well labled and described in the directions.
Cons:
The weight resistance on the lower pulleys starts at like 58 lbs. It''s probably not the best piece of equipment for younger people or possibly women. It doesn''t go any less than that on the lower stuff so you may not be able to use it if you''re not strong enough to start at 60lbs or so.
If you''re bigger than 6ft, it''s probably going to be a little tight. I''m 6'' and there are some exercises that I feel like I need some more room on the machine.
The exercise chart is not specifically for this machine. Instead it''s for a group of machines. You''ll not be able to do more than half of the exercises listed.
Otherwise, it''s a decent machine for the price. I paid under 300. It''s certainly convenient and easy to use. I am able to get a nice 30-45 minute workout in the morning without any fuss.

Total Body Solution: Relieve Pain & Prevent Strain in 15 Minutes, Workout DVD
The Main Menu lists each of the five target areas. When you select one, you are first taken to additional information about Beachbody''s services (you can fast-forward through this, but it can''t be skipped), and then Debbie and Chad come onscreen for an introduction to that area. Each area consists of two sections: 1) Assessment Test(s), 1-2 tests exploring pre-existing functioning in that area, and 2) Solution, a series of exercises, or "drills," designed to improve mobility, range of motion, and endurance strength in that particular area. The setting is outdoors, with Chad providing instruction and Debbie performing both the Assessment tests as well as all of the drills (Chad sometimes joins in).
I have broken down each segment in detail below. (Note: for all drills, 15 repetitions of each exercise are performed unless otherwise noted.)
NECK, 12.5 minutes
Assessment (2 mins.; uses chair)
There are two Neck tests. The first is a chin tuck, attempting to hold the chin toward the chest for 30 seconds without pain. The second is a head turn, trying to get the head past the shoulder on either side.
Solution (10 mins.; uses mat and chair)
Chin tuck
Neck flexion (lying face-up, lifting head)
Neck Extension (lying face down, lifting head)
Side neck flexion (lifting head from side-lying position; repeat on both sides)
Head tilt hold (seated in chair, hold head for neck stretch)
SHOULDERS, 15.5 minutes
Assessment (1.5 mins.)
There is one Shoulders test. This consists of reaching behind the back with one hand coming up over the shoulder and reaching down, one hand coming across the back and reaching up, and then trying to clasp the two hands together (aka cow-face arms in yoga); this is repeated on both sides.
Solution (14 mins.; uses mat and band with optional stability ball)
Egyptian (arms bent at 90-degrees, one up, one down; alternate)
Chest Lift (standing, raise chest while pulling shoulders back)
Floor Push (protract/retract shoulder blades)
Y Raise (lying over stability ball, lift arms in Y shape)
External Rotation (arms bent at 90-degrees, rotate down and back up)
T Rotation (on hands and knees, alternately lift one arm and twist)
Floor Slide (lying on back, slide arms down, squeezing traps muscles)
Band Pull (holding band overhead, bring behind back)
LOWER BACK, 22 minutes
Assessment (4 mins.)
The Lower Back assessment consists of one test: holding a bent over fold for 120 seconds with good form and without pain.
Solution (18 mins.)
Cat/Camel (on hands and knees, alternately arch/extend spine)
Hip Twist
Bird Dog (on hands and knees, lift opposite arm/leg)
Trunk Twist (standing twist)
Glute Bridge (pelvic raises performed on heels)
Clam (open/close leg)
Good Morning (come to bent over position/raise back up)
Psoas Hold (hip stretch)
CORE, 15.5 minutes
Assessment (5.5 mins.)
Two Core tests are performed. The first is a 90 second hold of plank, and the second is a 75 second hold of side (elbow) plank, although this is performed on both sides.
Solution (10 mins.; uses mat)
Standing trunk twist
Standing side bend
Hand walk out (moving plank performed on knees)
Side trunk raise (modified side plank)
Curl up (reverse abs curl)
KNEE, 16.5 minutes
Assessment (2.5 mins.)
There are two Knee tests. The first, which looks at hyperextension, involves being seated on the floor, legs straight out in front, feet flexed; heels should be off the floor with no pain. The second, examining active flexion, is a single leg lunge, performed with the back knee reaching the floor, again without pain.
Solution (14 mins.; uses mat and chair--also, Debbie is in socks rather than sneakers)
Leg extension (seated in chair and raising leg)
Partial squat
Calf raise (with hands on seat of chair)
Knee curl (rocking into partial front lunge)
Leg curl (lying face up and pulling heels in)
Single leg balance (holding for 30 seconds on each side)
Quadriceps hold (lying face down; holding each side 30 seconds)
Debbie recommends that to see results, you need to do the Solution for the given area every other day for 30 days. I have not yet done that, but because I am quite tight in the upper body, I have been alternating the Neck and Shoulder Solutions every day for about 1 1/2 weeks now, and it does seem to be helping me. I''ve had some low back and knee issues in the past as well, and I wouldn''t hesitate to turn to the routines on this DVD whenever I need some rehab work in those areas. This is an ideal DVD for regular exercisers, athletes, and others who may have some nagging issues and/or want to prevent any problems from getting worse. We all have issues with our joints at some point or other and this becomes especially challenging when trying to lose weight or just get fit. I recently started slim in 6 (down 15lbs after 3 weeks) and discovered Total Body solution (TBS) just when I was starting it. Lucky day that I did. During the last quarter of last year I was unable to exercise due to back injury. So this year after being cleared to exercise in therapy, I was very worried about aggravating the injury. Thanks to the lower back and knee segments of TBS my back flexibility has increased, as has my endurance during back exercises. It does have some of the same exercises I did during therapy and a few more. I am doing it every other day and though I still get pain now and again, the intensity/duration is much less than before starting it. Highly recommend this DVD!

If you are recuperating from an injury or it has been a long time since you''ve worked out and need to test the strength and flexibility of your body, this program will help you do it. Each part of the body is addressed individually and as long as you stick to it, you will see and feel improvement. Keep pushing play everyday!I have a lower back bulging disc and arthritis in my knee (thanks 80s hi-impact aerobics). I have been to physical therapy and chiropractic care to treat both. I decided I wanted a DVD to do at home so I wouldn''t have to keep paying to do something I could do at home.So far so good many of the exercises are ones I have done in PT. I like Debbie''s upbeat personality and comments playing to Chad''s straight man personae. A few times when Debbie is doing the exercises they focus on Chad''s face instead of showing what Debbie is doing. It would be helpful if Debbie counted her reps, but you are supposed to work at your own pace.
I recommend this to anyone who needs to treat pain and weak muscles to prevent further injury. I''m hoping this will get back me back to my active form soon!
