I wanted a short to wear for casual wear that looked sporty and was very comfortable. From the pictures of this short, it looked like it would "fill the bill". On receipt, I found the short to be very well made, I really liked the wide waist band that allowed it to fit very comfortably even though tight (I had ordered size L, when i''m actually XL). But the legs were so big that I could have fit my size XL body into each leg of the short. With the huge wide legs, it looked pretty ridiculous when I tried it on. I also disliked the material it was made from, basically sweat shirt material, didn''t like the look or the feel of it. Although it was soft and comfortable, it didn''t look or feel right for my intended use. I guess it would be perfect for its stated use, but not as a casual wear short. I gave 4 stars because of the quality of construction. I''m still wondering if the super extra wide legs are "correct" for the intended use as a boxing training short? If they are right, then this might deserve 5 stars, but I just can''t give 5. The pisture in the ad does not even begin to show how wide the legs are.

These are the most comfortable shorts I own, except for the black pair just like them I own. These are my favorite ones, I love the grey color. The waist band is about four inches wide, I was not used to that, but you never have to worry about them working down. I plan on buying more as more colors come out.
