My physical therapist recommended I purchase these. Unfortunately they cost about $10 more than what she said they would. Luckily Amazon didn''t charge for shipping which kept the cost a bit more in line with what she said they would cost. She claims they will last forever. The straps and velcro do seem very strong. So far they have enabled me to do my PT exercises in the water with more resistance. No compliants except for the cost.
