This is a very good weight set. The finish is very nice. The machine finish on the plates is very good. The fit of the plates on the Troy olympic bar is excellent. The end of the olympic bar has very tiny grooves that helps keep the plates from sliding as much as a smooth olympic bar. The interlocking feature is excellent, and helps to add more plates to the bar and helps keep your workouts quiter. The grip feature is awesome, making the weights safer, and also allows for additional exercise options. I have not weighed the plates to see how accurate they are, but they are suppose to be within a 2% accuracy.....I have had cap olympic plates, and the size of the plates were not consistent, and the center bores were off. I also had the body solid grip plates. The body solid finish was not good, the center bores were not machined, and very unfinished. Those plates wobbled like crazy on the bar.
For cast iron plates, I rate these a 4.5. If the weights are accurate to the scale I will give them 5 stars.
