I''ve reviewed all these individually (see each DVD Amazon listing for details). For those workouts I liked, I gave each 5 stars, for those workouts I didn''t like, I gave them 2 or 3 starts. That''s why I''m rating the series as a whole only 3 stars.
The workouts I love:
**MMA Fusion
**Cardio Core Circuit
**HiiT
**Circuit Blast
**Travel Fit
**MMA Boxing.
Why I love these workouts:
**they''re very intense and what I expect from Cathe
**they''re fun
**Cathe is her usual energetic and enthusiastic self
**they''ll give you a great workout in under an hour.
The workouts I don''t like:
**MMA Kickbox
**Athletic Step
**Step Moves.
Why I don''t like these workouts:
**they''re not at all intense. My heart rate doesn''t even get into the low end of my aerobic range.
**the music is uninspiring.
**they''re not fun; probably because the music is so blah.
**Cathe is very subdued and even she doesn''t look like she''s having fun.
**Excruciatingly long warm up and NO cool down. Since these are low intensity, a long warm-up is not needed. At the end of the workouts, Cathe says, "okay, cool down on your own and then come back for the stretch." No, I won''t cool down on my own. She could have cut 2 minutes from the warm-up and used that time for the cool down.
It is a better deal to buy the Shock Cardio DVDs as a set, but you may not like them all. I suggest reading the detailed descriptions and reviews of each DVD and then deciding what to buy.
