This ball is a perfect self-myofacial release tool, and can be used in a similar way as the much larger foam roller. In addition to daily home use, I pack the ball in my suitcase whenever I am traveling, because I never want to be without the trigger point release it provides. Any foam roller technique can be used with it. Check prices and makers here on Amazon, because the prices vary. Worth every penny!

This posture ball is a very good size and is much better at hitting pressure points and working muscles in my upper back/shoulders and arms than the tennis ball I was previously using. It also slips less. (I use it by leaning against a wall with it between me and the wall.) All in all I think this was a great purchase, though I wish it had cost a little bit less!
