This mat was cheaper than many competing models and that was certainly a factor in my purchase decision. I am completely satisfied with the quality. There was no lingering smell (apparently this is a problem with some mats). The mat sits underneath a 350 lb treadmill and on top of a concrete floor. I was able to position the treadmill on the mat relatively easily. It didn''t tear, and was firm enough that the treadmill would roll over the mat without getting stuck. Delivery was quick. Highly recommend!

I purchased this for our elliptical to give it a more solid surface to sit on (it''s on carpet). The mat that is currently shown in the picture appears to be very solid and shows the "chrome" stamped pattern. The mat that we received is very flimsy and has a different pattern. Long story short, the actual product does not match the provided image. My husband had already put it in place and disposed of the box before I realized or I would have sent it back. It serves its purpose, but there are less expensive options out there.

Not quite as thick or sturdy as the pictures makes it look, but seems sufficient. No problems with it yet.

We bought this to go under our elliptical machine. We have it on carpet nw and will be moving it to ardwood soon. We have had it or about 3 week now and it has worked great. The only reason that I won''t give it 5 stars is that it ripples where the elliptical rest on it. I''m sure this has to do with the fact that it is on carpet.

We tried using this mat on a Precor 9.33 treadmill. The mat bends and folds in-half whenever the incline is adjusted up which (1) causes the treadmill to move off its level-balanced location and (2) pushes the mat dangerously close into the bottom portion of the walking/running belt. In addition, this mat completely flattened out at the four contact points with the treadmill (2 front rollers and 2 rear feet)and will not stay straight when you lower the incline--this may be too heavy of a treadmill for this relatively flimsy mat. Returned it to Amazon ASAP.
