We got 2 balls this size, and a 42" ball for my 2yr old Niece.They are a huge hit, and this size is fine for adults too. We had several adults ~200lbs using this ball no problem.
I found the handle well-constructed, but a little hard to hold for more than a few moments of bouncing, but the kids don''t seem to mind.
When I was looking online, I was wishing there was a bigger ball, but when we actually got it, this one is the perfect size for a child aged 6, 9, 13 and adults that all used it. For a younger child, you may want the smaller one.
