This mat if perfect for my treadmill and my exercise bike. It has a good thickness and hardness. The equipment does not slip and slide on the mat or sink down into the mat. I size is perfect, not too long lengthwise or too short widthwise. Of course Amazon''s selection and pricing was the best.

I purchased this mat for working out on instead of using it underneath exercise equipment, which is it''s stated purpose. It is larger than many workout mats, which is great for P90X exercises where you often are jumping around and doing different exercise moves on the floor. I needed an exercise mat because my entire apartment is ceramic tile, and many exercises (mainly pylometrics) are terrible on your joints while on a hard floor. This mat provides adequate thickness for use on a hard floor, it''s not too soft nor too hard. It does slip on the floor a bit, but overall its great for working out on.

I purchased this mat to go under my treadmill, but since I haven''t moved the treadmill into my workout room yet, I''m using this mat to exercise on. It has the perfect thickness for every exercise I do. I will probably be ordering a 2nd mat for the treadmill...lol Love it!

*Update March, 4, 2013: I''m still in love with this mat. I recently purchased a Horizon Fitness EX-59 Elliptical and bought the Stamina Fit to Fold mat to go with it. While the fit to fold works, I''m not crazy about the aesthetics of the folds not going completely flat. I will be purchasing another of this mat to replace under my elliptical.
