INSANITY: THE ASYLUM - Speed Rope

I got my jump rope with the complete dvd/rope set. I like that it is ajustable-as it''s nearly impossible to jump if it''s not the right length. However, mine has broken 3times! I have went through 3 rotations which is 90 days...but if you know the program you''ll know the rope is only used really in 2 of the workouts. Each time it breaks the same way. The friction from the rotations actually makes a clean break and it snaps right off during use-ouch! I love the asylum; however, I wish the rope was a bit more durable.

I used this thing probably 20 times and it broke 4 times. The first 3 times were in the handle so I could still use it, but the thing finally broke in the middle yesterday so I had to toss it. Much better options out there.

I have a couple jump ropes that are leather and aren''t as nice as the Asylum. I just got it and my first thought was it''s flimsy then a tried it out and I love it !!! works like a charm! shipped fast too!

My daugher is using this to work out and it tangles and will not work like a good jump rope should. I think we could have gotten a better rope at the $$ store.

I was able to use this rope for a full cycle of asylum, which is a good thing. However, the entire time I questioned the quality of the material. Low and behold doing a random workout the other day, and the handle flew off, and ten minutes later the other handle broke off. I don''t mind spending money for a good product, and this is NOT one of them.
