Simply a quality piece of fall gear. I bought it on sale, and it was worth every penny. Arrived on time.
I jog in the outskirts of Mexico City at 7,000 feet altitude. It gets chilly in the evenings and a bit windy. I used a fleece to jog but wanted a tight fit, wind and water resistant jacket. This jacket does all of that and the looks are awesome. I really like Pearl Izumi''s style. When it gets windy your core doesn''t get too cool. I use a size 40 coat and the fit, for a medium size, is tight but not binding which I love. I also got the Pearl Izumi PRO Thermal Jersey and have similar comments concerning the fit and performance.
Updated-July 6, 2011. I have tested the jacket under light to medium rain. It''s rain season here in Mexico City. The jacket stayed dry on the inside while I joged for about an hour.
