adidas Men''s 3 Stripe Pant

I have bought Adidas sporting attire before with good luck. This Mens 3-Stripe pant had everything I wanted: Nice deep front pockets that could hold a few tennis balls, a fabric which allowed movement on the court, and sturdy workmanship. I had read a previous reviewer say that they ran large so I ordered one size smaller than usual. I am no-longer the skinny guy I was 20 years ago so at 5''8'''' tall and 185 lbs., I can use i bit more breathing room anyway--or so I thought!

I have heard of clothes being "relaxed fit" or "generous with material'' but there is more than enough fabric in the seat and thighs of those things to sail the entire Spanish Armada! Not only that, but they are 4" too long as well. If I cinch them up above my armpits like Martin Short, I can walk without stepping on them but 2 minutes of easy walking (let alone tennis) and I look like the guy who the "Pants Hangin'' Down" song was complaining about. These are the Pantathalon of pants--5 guys could fit in them along with their hamburger stand.

This is my second pair of Adidas 3-stripes. I cant say enough good things about these pants. If your looking, you obvously know adidas and what they stand for. Well my friend, look no further, the price is right and you wont be dissapointed with the product. They''re great for the gym, lounging, wearing out casually, and even sleeping.

-Garment care: Manufacturer recommends prompt removal from washing machine line dry only (avoids pilling of fabric)

These pants are great. They are very comfortable for just lounging around the house or for a quick run to the grocery store or whatever. They are not too hot but still give you some warmth and especially comfort.

They also work well for training and athletics (which is what they were designed to do of course). Again, they give you warmth for walking to the gym on a cold night, but they don''t get too hot during your work out like other types of pants do, especially nylon warmups.

I highly recommend these, but they are so hard to find! Amazon''s prices are about normal, but at least they have them in stock. The only other place I have been able to find them is the Adidas store, usually for about $5 more.

The men''s small is the same size as the youth extra large. So of course it was too short. Not sure if that''s how they do their size chart, or if this one is faulty.

I have a pair of Adidas sweats from 20 years ago. These are basically the original "b-boy" tracksuit sweats. The fabric is thick and they are so comfortable to wear. One reason I like them is that the pockets are made of "thick" fabric. What I mean by that is that a lot of Adidas'' newer sweats are made of such thin fabric that when you carry stuff in the pockets like keys and wallet, they flop all over the place.

When I saw these, I was skeptical of buying them, because I''ve been looking for a replacement pair for years. I ordered them on a whim, and when they arrived, I was excited to see they were basically the exact same ones as my old pair. Even the "model" number on the tag was the same.

The only difference is that my original pair has zip up pockets. These do not. However, these are constructed the same as the original, they are thick and fit the same.
