TKO Sit-Up Board

TKO Sit-Up BoardItem poorly made..separated at weld while I was using..this caused me to slide backwards ..I hit my head and got a laceration from incident..don''t buy. There are better ones for same price.

TKO sit-up board is poorly designed. Why?

1. Position for the knees creates undue stress on our lower back.

2. Stabilizer legs are not wide enough.

3. Pads are too small, and while we are at it, the pad rods are not wide enough

for men. I am 75" and 190 lbs.

I work out a lot, and when I buy a piece of equipment I expect it to hold certain standards. Well, this was wrong from the word "go." It was impossible to even put the thing together; the lines in the particle board for the bolts did not line up with the bolt holes. But never mind that. The quality of the product was very poor. The board itself did not seem strong, the cover for it did not seem like it would last very long. Fortunately the company I bought it from was able to refund my money. Don''t take the same risk.

Though it is wider than many, it is still a little narrow a board for passive-traction, which is why I ordered it. Very comfortable and firm. My chiropractor said it''s not a healthy way to do sit-ups. And by the way, the picture''s "slant" is obviously exaggerated! Be careful rolling off...

This incline board is way too small for anyone over 5 ft. 8 in. or over 200 lbs. Not only does it not fit, but it falls over with the slightest twisting of the body. I tried attaching doweling to it in order to get more lateral support and that helped, but the pad is still to narrow. I am only 6 ft. tall and weight 258 lbs. A total waste of money if you are of average size or larger.
