I don''t use it for weightlifting anymore, I use it for my bad back and it works great. It really keeps you from over-extending your back, this is not a medical device but it works great for me.

This is a good quality general fitness belt. I find it is difficult to get the belt really tight. (Like a powerlifting belt.) Granted it is NOT a powerlifting belt. The belt is comfortable to wear and easy to cinch and unhook quickly.

If i had to reorder this product... I wouldn''t. I may send it back too. The belt is "O.K".... It doesnt really have any front support for lifting nor does it secure by way of buttons or in a belt like fashion. Also.... They run a little too small.

I have back issues and bought this belt to use as a back support when working around the house and yard. It does make a positive difference. I believe it gives me better lower mid back support then a not as wide 4" back support belt. I have a 38" waist the X-Large fits well leaving ample room for growth..... It has a nice buckle that makes it easy to get the right tightness. Its made well and should last quite awhile. It''s also washable don''t know yet how well it washes.
