I got the bar up and it has been very sturdy, I hang, swing and stress test it. No problems.
Strong pullup bar. I would suggest to anyone looking for one.
Those new perfect pullup bars are expensive. Dont waste your money.I read all review and was hesitant to buy. At first, I thought only one side extended because i read it here on the reviews section. Not true. You simply have to extend the other side too lol Not to hard. Came with everything needed. It does take some time depending on your door way to get the sides to reach your desired width. Very Sturdy once up. Great Price. I think this is better than others. I mean what else do you need? The hand grips do not move, so if you dont extend the other side, your hands will be off center like one suggested in the review, but again, just extend the other side lol. Would highly recommend. Works great. Oh, it also comes with some fixtures to hold it in place if you dont trust it without. I have been using for about two weeks now without it and its still up very sturdy. I am about 160lbs by the way. This bar is fairly sturdy. The pads at the end can leave black rubber marks on a painted white wall, but they can be washed off with some effort, or you can put something over the rubber. The bar will just barely not fit in a 2 foot doorway. It is possible to unscrew the bar to adjust it from both sides, but the sides screw from different directions, so that the bar can be tightened and loosened by twisting it one way or the other once it is in place, hence why some reviewers complain that it can''t be centered in large doorways. Once tightened this way it is quite sturdy. If you aren''t against a stud or a really sturdy frame, you might want to distribute the pressure with a piece of plywood or something to avoid cracking drywall (though I haven''t tried this solution myself).
