Excellent arm strengthening equipment. It takes a little while to figure out how to send the tension evenly on both sides, but once you figure that out, it''s pretty easy. And then twise away. Each side works independently. And you can twist in almost limitless ways. One great way is just to make circles with each hand around the horizontal portion of the Bison-1. You can make circles going forward and in reverse. You can do this over your head, in front of you, behind you or in an direction you choose. It''s kind of fun and you will get a good-feeling burning sensation in your forearms. If you have wrist problems, this might fix it. If you have slight carpel tunnel, this may fix that, too. It kind of loosens up your wrists and strengthens them at the same time. And if feels great after just a few minutes of working out with the tool. This is definitely a great exercise machine for a reasonable price. And it''s so small and light, that you can take it anywhere with you.

I bought this about a month ago because I play competitieve table tennis and seemed to lack wrist control in my backhand. Some of this I attributed to wrist weakness and ordered the Bison-1 to strenthen my wrists and grip. There were few online reviews that I could find and I considered spending this much money to be a gamble. However, the logic of the device appealed to me and it seemed as if it should work. I can say that after four weeks of use that I am very pleased with the result. My wrists are much stronger, my control of fine wrist motor movements while playing table tennis seems much easier, and my grip has gotten stronger. I don''t know that I will ever bend nails as they show on the internet but I think that continued use will greatly increase wrist strenth and control. I should also add that this product will not duplicate doing wrist curls with weights. Rather, the movement is primarily a rotational one made with the wrists and it seems to strenthen a different aspect of the wrist than wrist curls. My only criticism about the product is that adjusting the resistance can be a bother because the locking rings occasionally stick in place and become hard to loosen when making an adjustment. So far I have always been able to loosen them and it may be that a little lubricant will completely remedy this problem. Overall I am very pleased with the Bison-1 as it does what it does very well and does it differently than any other product I could find. I would recommend it and believe it to be worth the price.
