I really did need a bag AT LEAST 16x40. That was the minimum dimension I could use to store a rolled up twin sized foam mattress for camping.The bag I received was actually 15x38 from seam to seam (it is a cylindar, so the 15" is the diameter of the circular end.
I did not take off a star because very few people would be as picky about the dimensions as I am being.
The fabric itself feels like very sturdy cloth and the dualing zipper seems very sturdy and there are well sewed carrying handles on each end. Very, very nice.
On the insert the bag came with, it mentions two sizes 16x40 and 18x42. I am guessing that the 18x42 is really 17x40, so I am out to obtain that one instead.

What i like about this bag is that it is the heavy diamond ripstop material. It not only looks great it performs just as well. The material is very heavy compared to others and is coated on the inside. I''m sure the bag isn''t waterproof, but it does a pretty good job of keeping everything dry. They also put a good size zipper guard on that helps as well. The Zipper is very heavy duty. It Came with a Detachable Carry Strap as well. Webbing handles wrap all the way around the bag for more support on the heavy loads. Seems like a great value for the money.My husband got the duffel bag on 01.05.2012 and he said it was large enough to hold all of his EMT gear and fire fighting gear. He said now he can keep it in the trunk of the car and not have to use trash bags. They rip and have to be replaced each time and no one has mention that trash bags are not cheap.He most pleased and glad I wanted until after New Year to get the bag. He feel the price is perfect. Just like the bag.

I bought this to suppliment my luggage on a cross country move for my clothing and other soft goods that are bulky. It is very well made and reminds me of the bags seen used by bank robbers once the enter the vault and start filling the bags with cash, which is heavy and bulky. This bag could be used for that to give you a feeling of its size and strength. Its huge and fits better into your car than regular luggage that wont conform to seats and spaces that would prevent your hard sided luggage from fitting. For the price, and the utility its a home run. It also folds up so small that I would take it on vacation to bring back the unknown, or weeks of dirty laundry etc. I might purchase another to have on hand.Save 45% off
