i was looking for a mat that was comfortable for yoga and stretching on a tile floor but i was worried about too thick.

this mat is perfect, it is roomy and just the right thickness. the material is soft but works very well on my hard floor.

this material does have a manufacturing odor (not uncommon) but after one day airing it outside it is fine.

now if i can just keep the cats off of it!

This exercise mat is the best around. Thick enough to create comfort while you exercise. You gasp "ahhhh" as your body hits the mat and you feel pampered as you exercise. I received one as a gift after back surgery five years ago. I use it regularly and just bought one as a gift. He loves it and uses it daily.
