Aside from the atrocious smell of this thing, it is pretty good. This made me realize how out of shape I really am. The crunches are SO much more intense with this than without.

It took about one month for the vinyl-chemical smell of this to subside. Another issue I found, is that it tends to lose air slowly, so each time I use it I must re-inflate it a bit. Perhaps that is normal, I don''t know....I never had one before.

Stott Pilates is a brand that is held out as the best, of premium quality and highly functional. For the most part, this is holding true in my experience. This package includes a ball, a poster and a DVD. The ball is OK. The poster is OK. The DVD does not have chapter markers or the ability to go to a specific exercise. It only has the ability to play the whole workout, sequentially. Usually, this is part of Stott''s DVD design. The workout is a good one and the use of the small stability ball as a prop is well done. For the most part, the workout is essential to intermediate, but she throws in a few tough ones. about 40 minutes of core work on a mat with a ball.
