It took about one month for the vinyl-chemical smell of this to subside. Another issue I found, is that it tends to lose air slowly, so each time I use it I must re-inflate it a bit. Perhaps that is normal, I don''t know....I never had one before.

Stott Pilates is a brand that is held out as the best, of premium quality and highly functional. For the most part, this is holding true in my experience. This package includes a ball, a poster and a DVD. The ball is OK. The poster is OK. The DVD does not have chapter markers or the ability to go to a specific exercise. It only has the ability to play the whole workout, sequentially. Usually, this is part of Stott''s DVD design. The workout is a good one and the use of the small stability ball as a prop is well done. For the most part, the workout is essential to intermediate, but she throws in a few tough ones. about 40 minutes of core work on a mat with a ball.Read Best Reviews of Stott Pilates Mini Stability-Ball Power Pack Here
Don''t let the level of difficulty (Level 2) fool you. I found it easy, however, the exercises challenged my core completely. Fluidity and variety in movement from the beginning warm-up breathing exercises to cool down, the 42-minute mini stability-ball workout is comprised of 26 exercises (5 or 6 reps each) to achieve maximum results of core strength building, flexibility and body stability. Moira''s simple yet thorough guidance during each movement provides the foundation for a powerful mini stability-ball workout that includes the familiar Pilates exercises, stretches, and crunches, plus alternatives if you cannot complete the movements as demonstrated expertly by ever-graceful Natalia. I found the size of the ball to be perfect, and it took five easy breaths to blow it up. I use Stott Pilates DVDs daily, and my body has changed dramatically (flatter abs, toned arms and buns) in a short time (January 2012 to August 2012). So far, this one is my favorite. I highly recommend the Stott Pilates Mini Stability-Ball workout. The ball is only 7" & the dvd calls for a 12" ball. I couldn''t do everything on the dvd because it was too difficult for me with a smaller ball.
