As another poster said, as you use them your knuckles slide forward/glove slides back so you end up punching with bare knuckles. If this wan''t a(big) problem, they would be good -I liked having my palms uncovered.

The gloves were exactly as described though I did end up returning them. When hitting the heavy bag my hands would slide forward in the glove. After a time or two of this my knuckles started to become chafed and raw. I purchased a different style of Everlast gloves and have not had the problem since.

I''ve been a kickboxing instructor for 4 years now. . . I wanted to try something different then what I''ve been using and I really like these. There is just the right amount of padding. My only issue is I wish the were more "glove like." there are the spots to stick your fingers through but can be a bit time consuming when taking them off and putting them back on in class.

It was a nice purchase for my self defense class. I got it for a really good price since I didn''t want to buy the cheaper version. :) I havn''t used them yet but I''m planning to. They''re very good quality.
