I never really had a gym/duffel bag like this, I''ve always wanted one, but never really had a need. Finally I was going on a trip (flying) to florida through Continental, and it costs $25 a bag to check, but you can bring a carry-on for free, so I knew I needed to get a decent sized duffel in order to fit the bill, and this bag was it. It''s big enough for me to bring 4 pairs of shorts, pair of jeans, pair of khakis, 7 t-shirts, Polo, Button Down, Pair of Sneakers, Ipod, book, journal, pair of big noise cancelling headphones, external hdd and 5 pairs of socks. Now you may think that''s not a lot, but when you''re 6''2", 310 lbs with a 40" waist your clothing has a lot of material to it, especially shorts, pants and jeans. Funny thing is now I''m carrying just a pair of sweats, shorts and a gym shirt in it for when I go to lift and it seems almost too big, but I love it anyway. Furthermore, the thickness of the nylon is awesome, it feels like it would be pretty hard to rip the material that''s holding all of your clothes in, and the zippers feel heavy duty as well.

I think whatever you''re looking for, a carry-on or just a gym bag, this is what you need.

Great bag, very durable. Larger volume inside than it appears. Will fit a basketball and a pair of shoes easily along win a change of clothes. Fits in all lockers I''ve tried it in no problem. Zippers are very durable, unlike some cheaper bags, everything is stitched very thoroughly

I purchased this bag as a general purpose gym back. I chose the medium, and it is the perfect size! I''m a working professional, and sometimes will shower and change into work close at the gym. This bag can carry my gym clothes, athletic shoes, swim gear (trunks, towel, etc), my toiletries bag for showering, and a full change of clothes. The end cap pockets are a nice touch, especially the shoe compartment. It''s designed well and can hold my size 13s without a problem. Something my previous bag did not do so well. I''ve only had it for a few weeks, but with near daily use it''s holding up well. I will update this review in the event I see any early signs of wear and tear.

I had high expectations for my new Gym Bag. The old one received lots of use, and I hoped this one would as well...

This bag has quite a few good features: Double pockets, waterproof liners and double zipper on the main comparment. After 3 months of use, I can''t use it anymore.... Small things become the big things:

1. Shoulder strap attachments block access to unzipping the side compartments ( I cut them off).

2. Only the main compartment is double zippered, The 3 other ones are just single zipper, meaning I have to zip each compartment all the way over to open, and all the way closed to avoid something spilling out. Normal double zippers permit you to close it at the top, not here.

3. All existing zippers have a cheap pull fob that pulled apart the first week... no fun trying to move a zipper directly with fingers.

Come on UA, don''t cut costs to save a few pennies, then sacrafice the useablity of an otherwise good bag !
