Allegro Tower: Integrated Workout

Allegro Tower: Integrated WorkoutYes, I guess you could use this as a workout video and just do what they do. The instructor talks constantly...giving me the impression that it''s an aerobic workout for her even though she doesn''t do the exercises. I would find that annoying if I wanted to use this video for my workouts. What they could have done is spread out the exercises with more repetitions of each...giving her more time to explain the fine points without having to talk constantly. Of course, maybe she would have filled up additional time with more chatter. That said, I have to admit that her remarks were completely focused on the exercise being illustrated.

I will use this video as instructional...how to do exercises on the reformer plus tower...or the tower alone. I don''t recall there being any reformer alone exercises. There are a few exercises at the end that just use the tower with the user standing behind it and working with the springs and bars. One set of exercises uses the jumpboard on the reformer and springs from both the reformer, as you lie on the carriage, and the tower.

The instruction provided was very informative, but it comes at you fast. I felt the need to back up and review multiple times to get it all. Still, I prefer more exercises being illustrated rather than fewer exercises with better spacing given the playback time. The ideal solution would be enough time to run through all the exercises at a more leisurely pace and just have a longer playback time.

I am still recommending this video to anyone seeking instruction on how to use a tower and reformer combo on the same exercise. Not many sources for that kind of instruction...and this is a good one.
