The package came and had a big box of cards! So I opened the box and some of the "cards" are actually a cardboard insert that tells you that this box can hold more than one deck. (Which is lame in general and extra bad because the new cards are slightly smaller than original, so it can''t hold the original deck.)
Then there''s the 6 page "insert" telling you about the other decks that they make.
Then 8 cards that tell you to consult your doctor before a workout and that you should stretch.
That leaves 18 cards that are actual workouts...
The cards themselves are not bad, but it is a fairly disappointing experience to open a giant pack of cards and end up with so few as actually usable. If the workouts sucked, this would have been a 1-star review, but I am going to generously say 3 stars because they content is good on those 18 cards.See my more thorough review of the FitDeck products under the FitDeck Body Weight.
The FitDeck products are a terrific option for either starting a varied and interesting fitness program or invigorating an old one.
I own several of these decks and am thoroughly satisfied. The Kettlebell variety is a good addition to the Body Weight deck. This Booster deck contains 18 cards which limits the variety and depth of the Kettlebell exercises. There are so many more exercises that could have been added to make this deck more robust and balanced which tends to emphasize lower body and core fitness.
That said, FitDeck Booster packs add variety to the Body Weight cards and are a fantastic value. Recommended.Good addition to your fit deck collection, however, I feel it is lacking some of the key, basic kettle bell exercises. Overall I am pleased with them and use them regularly.Gave this to my brother in-law as a Christmas gift and he loved it. Had seen the cards before, but never the kettlebell exercises.Great Product! Really helps with my workouts. I wish there were another set of TRX cards with more exercises. Thanks!
