Pearl iZUMi Men''s Infinity Thermal Tight,Black,Large

Pearl iZUMi Men''s Infinity Thermal Tight,Black,LargeMe: I''m 5''7, fit, 145 lbs, triathlete

I bought size Medium

Experience with product: I''ve owned these pair of tights for about 1 week. In the past week, the weather has been about -5 to -15 degrees Celsius.

Fit: These pair of tights feel a little tight around the knees, but that''s probably a good thing as it provides more compression and support.

Quality: Very nice knitting and stitching. This pair of tights feel very solid and appears as though it will last through many wash cycles.

Comments:

1) I really like how they incorporated an extra layer of fabric in the front. They call this the "brief insert" to allow you to wear this pair of tights without underwear or a separate briefs.

2) Very warm fabric, but unfortunately I would say it is not warm enough alone for -5 to -15 degrees weather. I would still wear a mid-weight pair of tights on top of it to ensure adequate warmth. The sweet spot for this pair would be around -5 to 3 degrees Celsius.

3) Zippers at the leg are some of the best constructed design I''ve seen

Overall this is a solid product and I wouldn''t mind getting a second pair.

I love Pearl Izumi products and these tights are awesome !! Great fit, lightweight and well made, really nice. I use them for cooler weather road biking, I''ve put quite a few miles on them with no complaints or issues to report.I wear bicycle shorts under them which works well. They seem pretty true to size as I am 5''9" 155 lbs and mine are medium, I wear a 32" waist in jeans which fits snug but not too tight or restrictive. I have not used the back pocket but it seems up to the task if needed. I have Pearl Izumi jerseys and shorts the brand is my favorite biking apparel. I highly recommend buying these for running or biking if you are considering the purchase.

I will admit first that these are my first thermal tight for cycling so I have no previous experiences to compare with. These have no cushioned linning that some people maybe looking for. I am 5''9" at 150 pounds and medium was fine for me. They have kept me warm in temp from 40''s 60''s without being too warm in the 60''s. I ride my mountain bike early so it can be cold around 7 and pretty warm by 10.

These tights are great. Like all Pearl iZumi products, they have a limited lifetime warranty which is nice, especially for tights that cost this much.

They have a very thin fleece lining. I''ve used them in temperatures just above freezing. Although I start out cold, they release just enough heat as I''m running to keep me comfortable but not overheated.

Sizing:

I''m 5''8" and 160 lbs., and I find that the fit of the size medium is good. They are a bit long, but since they''re tights, I can just roll the bottom up a bit. I went to the company website and used the chart that goes by height/weight to choose the size.

It has a lining in the inside that does keep you warm but when riding in 20 degree weather make sure to wear some leg warmers too. I''ve used them for running too and it keeps your legs warmer being that you aren''t moving as fast as you do on the bike. Overall good buy for the price, comfy, nice zipper pocket in the back, keeps you warm enough.
