For starters, this bike does not have many height adjustments, so for me who is 5"2 I find it slightly uncomfortable. The seat doesn''t go low enough, and the handle bars not high enough. Also, the tension is very sensitive, and does not make for a very smooth ride.
The bike is considerably less comfortable, and I am not talking about the seat (which I am used to). The handle bars are wobbly, and not well cushioned.
I had to replace the pedals immediately as they do not have clips for cyclist shoes (an additional $65 bucks right off the bat.
But does it work? Sure it works, but I have to be aware of stiff shoulders due to the ill fit of the bike. If I had to do it again, I would spend the $400 extra dollars to get the next model up, which is the gym equivalent.I ordered this bike from the Spinning website. I really enjoy spinning at the gym and thought it would be awesome to have a bike at home that I could hop on whenever I had time. I got the package deal, which came with extra Spinning DVDs, a seat cover, and bike computer that displays time, distance, speed, and calories. I would suggest to skip the package unless you really want to know your distance or speed...The DVDs are pretty boring (watching hard-core spinners pedal to cheesy music just doesn''t do it for me) and I probably could have just made do using a stop watch for my time and saved the $100 or so it costs. But back to the bike...
Let''s start with the cons:
-Don''t expect the smooth ride you''re used to at the gym. The tension is much more sensitive, making it harder to find a nice tension that''s not too easy or so hard I can barely pedal. When the tension is increased, the riding feels rough, like I''m riding through sand. This is my biggest complaint about the bike and what disappointed me the most. The help guy at Spinning pretty much tried to tell me that I was imagining it and that bikes I''ve used at the gym did the same thing, but it''s definitely there and makes riding at a higher tension less enjoyable than it already is.
-The bike makes some clicking and "moaning" noises, which doesn''t really bother me as long as it''s not something broken inside it that I don''t know about.
-The handle bars don''t come up very high, but I like mine set higher...This might not bother other people.
...and end on a good note with the pros:
-Shipped pretty quick and was very easy to put together. The water bottle holder was bent when the bike arrived, but they sent me a new one without any problems.
-Even with my complaints above, I still enjoy having a bike at home and use it 2-4 times a week, mostly when I only have time for 20-30 minutes, or as a supplement to other short workouts. If I had it to do over, I''m not sure that I''d spend the money on it...But I did buy it, and I don''t regret it now.
I guess I''d say that if you''re really into spinning and take a lot of classes at the gym, you''d probably be slightly disappointed with this bike. But if you''re someone who''s looking for an at-home workout option, but aren''t necessarily going to be using it for hard-core workouts, you''d probably be happy with this bike.

The bike showed up on time and in great condition. Within two weeks the pedal reemed out the threading on the crank. Customer service was great and sent us the whole crank. But to replace the part it requires specialized tools. I hope others have better luck, but I would not reccomend this product. We all know that workout equipment is over-priced and impossible to get your money out of. So it looks like I''m stuck with this bike and will be forced to fix it (and likely fix again) and hope for the best. Do not buy... In the long run, a gym membership is a better deal.Want Spinner Fit Indoor Cycle - Spin Bike with Four Spinning DVDs Discount?
I''m a petite short Asian woman and at 5''0, this Spinner bike is just right for me at the lowest setting =) I was afraid that it might be too tall or my legs won''t reach the pedals, but it''s actually not. It may be uncomfortable at first. After 3-5 minutes, it''s pretty smooth. My body, legs & arms got used to it. You just have to focus and push yourself. I''m a beginner at this, so no need for a commercial industrial spin bike. This does feel like a gym bike but a cheaper one of course. It may not be top quality. This will do for beginners.I''ve been spinning for a month now (4-5 times a week) and so far, so good. I''m loving it. No problems with it. Felt sturdy & strong. The handle bars on my spin bike is fine. It''s not wobbly like others. The only thing I would get, is a cushion gel seating pad or something to make it more comfy, etc. My boyfriend bought this at a really good price at a another site. He''s at 5''11 and it''s perfect for him. I use it more than he does =) I hope this spin bike can keep up..
