Asics Women''s Favorite Tank

ASICS Women''s Favorite Tank, Black, X-SmallGreat fabric and comfortable! Accurate sizing too! I''m 5''2 and 120 and the small is perfect. The small also worked great for my 5''6 female teammate!

Oh I love it. It has a soft luxurious feel to the fabric. It fits true to size (L) and excellect wicking of moisture in hot sweaty cardio workouts. Love the orange color and would buy more of this top in other colors too.

Very flattering and comfortable top for running. Has a slimming look even though I wasn''t expecting that. Most importantly, very comfortable!

Want Asics Women''s Favorite Tank Discount?

It''s hard to find workout shirts that are lightweight and breathable -I find that many of the wicking fabrics are on the thick and heavy side and trap heat against me. This fabric is very breathable, the tank has nice wide straps so that a hydration pack won''t rub your shoulders, and the fit is relaxed.

Asics Men''s Core Singlet

Asics Men''s Core Singlet, Bronze, X-LargeI was torn between 5 & 4 stars for this because for really warm weather I wish the front neck scoop was cut a little lower though it''s better looking than the narrower shoulder strap low neck "wife beater" style. It''s 4.5 stars. The fabric hasn''t snagged at all after a full summer, even though it has a fairly open weave & my dog can jump on me. Mainly because of vanity, it''s the 1st top I grab after machine washing my running clothes in Sport-Wash by Sno-Seal. I like the way it looks & fits. I''m 6ft tall, weigh 165 lbs., have a 38" chest, 33" waist, run around 4 miles a day & the medium fits me well.

Used this shirt during a marathon last month in hot sunny Florida, was fairly cool even in 80 degree weather. Would recommend.

Smartshake V2 20oz Jay Cutler - Limited Gold Edition with Jays Signature in Gold

Smartshake V2 20oz Jay Cutler - Limited Gold Edition with Jays Signature in GoldMade well. I like the 3 compartment design. Good lid closure no leaks. BUT it is NOT 20 ounces. Perhaps when you add the storage capacity of all 3 compartments together you come up with the 20 ounce figure, but the main part the part you fill with water is only 400ml (a bit more than 12 ounces)! Whether this is good or bad is up to you, for me it''s annoying. If I fill the pill compartment up with all the pills I take in the morning I would at least like to be able to get them all down with one jug of water. With my old Blender Bottle which was really 20 ounces of space for water I could do so, now I have to go refill the jug when I still have 2-3 pills to take. I suppose the thing would be massive if they added the storage containers on the bottom of a true 20 ounce container, but I consider the advertising deceiving.

Also do note that the flip top lid is delicate. It is made of soft plastic and to be closed has to be pulled forward and down a bit. My previous blender bottle you could slam down on the lid, this one no. If you press to hard when the lid is not lined up correctly you will bend the plastic back and ruin the perfect seal.

Like so many of you, I own many shakers; this one is my favorite and I take it to the gym and work everyday. The size is perfect, and I love the tiny carabiniere on the side because I attach it to my gym bag. I use the extra attachment on the bottom to hold the ridiculous number of vitamins and preworkout pills I take on a weekly basis. Each Sunday I refill the attachment with the supplemental pills I will take during the upcoming week; it holds all of them (about 67-73) with room to spare. I don''t have any problems mixing protein or creatine with this shaker. It''s the best shaker I own and it looks cool. I''m going to buy a couple more of them. Highly recommended.

For those of you out there that have purchased a shaker cup before, you know how hard it is to find one that does not leak! This is the first shaker cup that I have ever purchased that has absolutely not leaked a single bit in multiple uses no matter how hard I shake it. I initially purchased this cup because I was looking for a better way to carry my after workout scoop of protein. Previously I had been using either a sandwich baggy or just storing the protein in the cup itself. The only problem was that in the baggy the protein sticks plus you have to keep buying baggies and when storing the scoop directly in the cup pouring water on the top it mostly sticks in the bottom of the cup. The detachable compartment is great because you don''t have to use the middle pill compartment which makes the cup smaller, the bottom compartment screws right onto the cup. This is overall an excellent cup and I have absolutely no complaints other than the fact that it is pretty shallow which makes it hard to put more than one scoop of protein in at a time with enough water that the consistency isn''t mud.

i purchased this product as I was prepping for surgery and was required to consume a high protein shake for 4 weeks prior to surgery. It works great. No more lumpy mess floating in my drink just a smooth consistency. also, what is awesome is the additional compartment attachments which I used to add the powder base, and the other for my daily vitamins and medication. Plus, added bonus is that since I live and Chicago and am a huge Bears fan, I can say I got it because of Jay Cutler, although this played no part in my decision to buy the product.

j/fit Large Balance Pod

j/fit Large Balance PodWhy I Bought It: This was recommended by my rock climbing partner and has worked very well. In rock climbing as you progress towards 5.9+ climbs, balancing acts becomes very important because you are hanging on your toes. As a kid I did not do lot of activities like snowboarding or roller skating that trains the brain to reposition center of gravity by delicate body and foot movement and maintain balance in extreme situations. I started climbing later in age and that means I experience more problems then others when advancing on levels. This balance pod helps you to train that part of your brain much more faster and it''s totally worth it. I believe the balancing skills will aid in XC ski later in winter as well.

Why This Mdel: Actually Amazon had lots of balance pods in all kind of sizes and lower prices then this one. There is also set of mini pods which is featured in many videos on Internet. This one is about largest size (but still small enough to keep it in a corner of your office) and most expensive one. I think the larger size is good for beginner use and especially when you want to practice by standing on one foot. This one is very "gelly" and high quality but really it''s just a pod. If you see one available in same size but lower price and I don''t know why you shouldn''t go for that one.

Does this need pump: No. The product page says "pump is sold separately" so I was doubtful if I need to order it. But when this one arrived, it was already inflated out of the box. I don''t see any air leaking anywhere and so I don''t think you need any pump.

How does it feel: Looking at its big size, one might think that it would be really easy to balance and it won''t be challenging. After it arrived I tried to stand on it with my toe on one foot and it wasn''t easy. The pod is not solid, it''s gelly and so it constantly tries to change your center of gravity. You have to constantly twist and move your body and pay attention to your leg is positioned. On day one I could barely stand on it for 5 seconds. I''ve now improved to about 60 seconds. It requires lot of energy to stay balanced and you will feet hot!

How to use it: One of my major complaint is that there is no manual or any instructions for exercises even though this one is really pricey. I would have probably reduced it''s rating to 4 star. In any case, you can try following exercises in increasing level of difficulty (these is not official training advice, just suggestions):

1. Try to stand on pod using your whole one foot (not just toe) for 60 seconds.

2. Try to stand on pod using only toe for 60 seconds.

3. Try to stand on pod using only toe, raise your hand and lower your hand 10 times.

4. Try to stand on pod using only toe, bend your upper body forward and other leg backward (like in ski position) 10 times.

5. Turn pod upside down and repeat above exercises.

You can also try out lot of yoga posses that involves on standing on one foot.

First, let me mention that you cannot stand barefoot on the balance pod! I don''t know why i thought it was a good idea from looking at the pictures, but the spikes you see are very stiff and will dig into your feet. It''s not like a bed of needles where the pressure is evenly distributed along the skin, your foot will press on one or two spikes and it''ll be very painful. that said, if you flip over the pod you get a nice flat area but the difficulty level is halved. I tried wearing a sandal on the spikes and it works great, though. Barefoot workouts are optimal for me, but I don''t mind wearing a sandal to work my ankles

Buy j/fit Large Balance Pod Now

I have ankle problems, and using this balance pod is helping to strengthen my ankles without a lot of work! I would have liked some "instructions" or suggestions with the balance pod, but I got nothing! Just the balance pod itself. No care instructions nor anything else.

I use this one for my dog strength/core training. I put there front feet on it and there back on the smaller air disc and this one with all the spikes helps them to keep there weight to there back end. But it is soft enough on there paws to not hurt them

Works well and certainly as effective as a true Bosu ball. However, the spikes are too pronounced and sharp. I have to put shoes on to use them. I can''t even use them when wearing thick socks.

Russell Athletic Men''s Cotton Performance Elastic Bottom Jersey Pant, Black, LargeI wear these pants 4 times a week to Kung Fu class. I give them quite a workout, and they still look and feel new. They are comfortable and just the right thickness for my liking. They are loose enough for me to have full movements and yet tight enough to not get in my way when twisting or jumping.

The vendor was excellent and the product was what I ordered. These are light-weight sweat pants excellent for sleeping attire or yard work in a 50 to 70 degree environment.

I like these type of pants because I have a very short inseam and with the ankle elastic (which is NOT constricting in any way) I don''t have to worry about how long they''ll be. I found the sizing to run large, so in the future I will order one size smaller. I previously bought Champion brand and they are a thicker material and seem a little more substancial. The Russell brand are of a thinner jersey knit which is better suited to summer wear. I wear this type of pant year around for the comfort. They are roomy, have side pockets and elastic at the waist and ankles, and look neat if you have to run an errand or go to the doctor''s office.

I used to buy these all the time (Medium size) and never had a problem with them. They used to be well fitting and very airy feeling so you don''t sweat too much.

The latest edition is very wide and stretchy....the same medium size is way too wide of an elastic waistband. And the legs are very wide and also the pant length is longer than usual. Additionally, the pockets are about 33% smaller than previous versions.

All in all, this was a very disappointing version of an otherwise great product. I hope Russell goes back to the drawing board on this one...

These are not too "sheer" as one person put it. They are lightweight and very comfortable. They are advertised as mens but women can wear them too. I buy them because the elastic in the legs keeps you from walking on them which is a plus for short people like myself. :) Also, womens tend to not have pockets, so I buy mens (which almost always have pockets) instead. I also buy them for male relatives and they love them too. No downside to these. If you want something for winter, outdoor activities you may want to go with something a little thicker. Otherwise, these are perfect for just about everything. I especially love them for "around the house" wear.

Icebreaker Women''s Ultralite Stellar OTC SocksI love all things Icebreaker and this is no exception. I picked up my first pair of these socks when I was in NZ and ordered more when I returned home. They are thin but very warm considering their weight. These are great under boots. The reach just under my knee and stay up (maybe only slide down an inch through the day, I do a lot of walking at work). Other socks like this tend to slide halfway down my leg in a short time, but these stay up which is a huge win for me!

Athletic Camisole Tank with Built-in Bra Top by In Touch

Athletic Camisole Tank with Built-in Bra Top by In Touch in Royal, SmallI am very disappointed with this product. The built in support bra does not support at all. It is as if I''m wearing a regular tank top without a bra. In fact while practicing yoga today, thankfully at home in private, I had an incident where one popped out. I can''t believe I''m writing this online, but I feel the need to express how little support this Camisole has. The only good thing about it is that it looks pretty on me...that is if it stays on or I stay in it.:)

I own this halter top in black & white. The colors are vibrant & the fabric quality is very good. This style runs small, so order 1 size up for a comfy fit. This company''s customer service rocks!

Buy Athletic Camisole Tank with Built-in Bra Top by In Touch Now

IMO, the description and title of this is false and misleading. THERE IS NO BRA. PERIOD. What there is, is a reinforcing panel that extends from the top seam to the hem, with absolutely no differentiation or other reinforcement to help hold anything up. If your front hangs down to your waist it will be squished down into your waist. I''m thinking the model is either wearing something under there, or she bought hers off the rack.

If you need support, go elsewhere. It sure ''aint here.

Granted this probably would be my fault as I obviously didn''t pay close enough attention to the pic of the shirt as it clearly shows the model''s mid section slightly. However, even though I"m a size small and fit I don''t like my belly showing regardless so the several tops I ordered in this style are just collecting dust in my workout clothes drawer. Just be aware that these shirts are quite short, only a bit longer than, say, a half shirt. Quality and customer service however are excellent.

Want Athletic Camisole Tank with Built-in Bra Top by In Touch Discount?

Has absolutely no bra/support AT ALL so I don''t understand why it says it does in the product description, let alone in the PRODUCT TITLE. The proportions are off as well. I have a very small build and ordered a medium. Big mistake! I should have gotten a small. The tank goes all the way up to my underarms making it uncomfortable around the area, but it''s not too big of a deal due to the fact that it is a soft, cotton material...not particularly something I want to work out in. Although it is tight under the underarm area, it is very large around the stomach/waist area. I don''t think this product should be advertised as an "athletic" tank; I am more likely to sleep in this than work out in it.

Schwinn 520 Recumbent Elliptical Trainer (Black)

Schwinn 520 Recumbent Elliptical TrainerThere are a whole lot of good things to say about this machine so here goes:

The machine took about two hours for my husband and son-in-law to assemble. This arrives in a large, heavy shipping cardboard box so plan ahead for how you will get it into your home and where you want to do the assembly. It comes with an assembly manual which consists mostly of pictures, but still it is very well thought out. If you follow along in the proper sequence, the machine will go together easily. The tools are provided, all the small parts such as screws and washers are attached to heavy cardboard and locked in place with heavy plastic with labels identifying each part by name. Cutting that plastic away will take almost as long as assembling the machine. You will also need to provide 2AA batteries for the console and a box cutter to open the shipping carton. There is a warning that this machine contains magnets and that may be a problem for anyone with a medical device such as a pacemaker. There is also a warning for consumers in the state of California regarding packaging and components judged (by the state) to be cancer causing. There is no electrical connection necessary for this machine. The instructions do recommend having two people put it together because some of the pieces are very heavy and unwieldy if trying to handle them alone. A word of caution here; the console attaches to one side of the machine and because it stands out away from the machine it might make it difficult (or in our case impossible) to go through a narrow doorway. We had to remove the console and reattach it when the machine was in the room we wanted it in. Simple enough to do. Once you have placed the machine where you want it make sure you use the mechanisms on the bottom to level it. The maximum weight for use on this machine is 300 pounds and the manufacturer does not recommend it be used by anyone under 14 years of age. Don''t ask me why 14 because I have absolutely no idea!

This machine has a fixed 14" non-adjustable stride length. The machine takes up approximately 55" x 38" of floor space. These are not exact measurements, consult the information on the product page for the exact dimensions. The foot-plates are very large (8.5" wide x 14" long) in order to accommodate all different sizes of feet. The contoured seat back is ventilated for user comfort and it also enables you to maintain good posture. The seat portion looked a little unusual, almost like half a seat, but once I began to use the machine I realized that you don''t need any more "seat" because your upper thighs are moving the whole time you are using the machine. The pedaling action produces a cooling fan breeze which helps with keeping me cool while I''m pedaling. The Airdyne system used is very quiet, but it is not silent. I can very easily hear the video playing on my Kindle Fire while I pedal and people in the next room cannot tell I''m doing my exercise. Also, and this is just for dog owners, this machine (unlike another exercise device I own) does not hurt my dogs ears when it is in operation.

Now some information about the console:

Why, why, why, did Schwinn not supply a better console with this machine? It requires two batteries to use, but the functions are really overly simple. First, it is almost impossible to read the printing on the front of the console because the print is so faint and small that I had to get out a flashlight and magnifying glass to read what the four buttons were to be used for. If there is a way to increase the LCD lighting, then I can''t find it. There are NO instructions regarding the console in the assembly manual except how to put it together and then mount it on the machine. There is NO owners manual provided with this machine and when I went to www.schwinnfitnessdotcom/manual as suggested in the assembly manual it was to find that this product is so new that there is no owners manual yet available (as of the date of this review). The console has a constantly scrolling display while the machine is in use which moves through all the information. On my console they are time, calories, distance, speed, heart rate, and RPM in that order. (Just for information, on the website the information shows distance and speed in reverse order to what is on my console.) There are four buttons. The first is to begin/pause, the second to resume/lock-on all or individual functions, the third moves backward through the functions, the fourth moves forward through the functions. According to the website there are three programmable workout programs. Evidently they mean you can pause it, you can wait until one function shows on the screen and then "lock" it in place (if you specifically want to keep track of one function), and you can advance backward or forward through the functions. The way to increase the intensity of your workout is to pedal faster -not to program in any resistance. There is no on/off switch, the machine goes into sleep mode if there is no movement of the pedals for five minutes. It immediately wakes up with any movement of the pedals. I have not been able to find any way to store previous workout information.

I really enjoy using this machine. I had never used an elliptical of any type before, but this reclined or recumbent style seemed the best way for me to gentle myself into using this type of machine. It does not "hurt" at all to use the machine, my hip joints, knees, or ankles, although I can assure you that I do get quite a workout. Just a little hint though, if you get "lazy" with the placement of your legs and feet you will begin to have some twinges of discomfort in your knees. The first few times of using the machine I had to concentrate to maintain proper positioning of my legs and not get sloppy or overly relaxed. I have had no problem situating the seat at the proper distance from the pedals for maximum effectiveness even though I am considered on the short side height wise (5''3"). My husband, who is over 6'' tall, also has no problem with adjusting the seat for his much longer legs. Moving the seat is simple and easily done. The heart rate sensors in the handlebars will not register a heart rate unless both hands are on the bars and even then you have to hold them for a long period of time to show elevated heart rate. There is a very small shelf in the middle of the console where I place my Kindle but I''m a little worried that it might slide off. There is a drink bottle holder on the left side of the machine. I plan to use this machine as recommended by my doctor and to set goals for myself which will change as I become more proficient in using it. It is a very well made machine and I expect it to give me many years of quality exercise.

EDIT: December 31, 2012 --my husband has been experimenting with the console and he has found that you can pre-program in goals for a single workout in time, distance, and calories expended. The program is not retained in memory when the workout ends. He has shown me how to set the goals but I prefer to build up my endurance slowly, without any pressure to meet a specific goal. After I''ve gotten more accustomed to the machine and have more stamina I may decide to pre-set a program. I still think some instructions would have been helpful and a Schwinn flashlight would come in very handy when trying to read that console. Eventually you will memorize which setting you are on by the position it is in on the console.

I just got this about 2 hours ago so I will update the review after I have had a chance to use it more. I did want to give my initial thoughts since there were no reviews when I bought it.

It arrived via FedEx, no special delivery company to deal with . That was great. I was shocked when Amazon offered $3.99 overnight (I am a prime member) on an item this size. So of course I took advantage of that. I also figured it would take away my chance of dealing with a special delivery company.

Assembly took about 1 1/2 hours by myself. I am a nerd about these things and love doing it. With that in mind I thought it was easy. However, the manual did state 2 people are needed. I am just an average sized guy (well I''m kinda fat, uhhh huh :-) The only part I could complain about were that the screws on the bottom of the console support arm were a pain to put in. You have to crawl under the bar to see that the holes are lined up. And of course it uses the smallest screws so if you have big hands you get to experience the frustration of getting them in there while under the arm. That probably took the longest to deal with.

I would make sure the machine is where you want it. You probably could twist the machine through a doorway to get the console piece through if you had to. I wouldn''t want to deal with the removing the console support arm if I could avoid it.

As another reviewer stated the assembly parts all come on a piece of cardboard labeled and everything. That was nice. As I said I am a nerd and super organized so I also labeled the machine parts with sticky notes containing their letters. I think it makes assembly go faster because you don''t have to flip back to the front of the instructions trying to figure out what part is what.

The seat back is all plastic. In fact the machine is very plastic and that I am not impressed with. I wouldn''t pay more then the deal I got ($550) and I honestly feel that is to high. It all seems like it could break. I think it would still be functional but it would look junky. Because of the seat back being plastic I had a broken cross piece but it was on the bottom so it is still usable. I got tired of holding on the phone after 5 minutes and sent an email for a replacement. Will also update on that if I ever get it.

One final assembly tip, the seat cushion is under the inside box inside a piece of styrofoam. I missed it the first time... but that''s why you label and check parts. :-) Yes, nerd.

I thought the console was easy to program. No real instructions but I didn''t feel they were needed. Yes, I am technically inclined but it tells you on the face of the console what the buttons do.

I was ambitious in wanting to try it so I set it to burn 200 calories. I did 6:12 minutes, 2.07 miles, 20.2 MPH and burned 49 calories. And that was enough for now. I question the stated heart rate of 77, I was huffing! I do have a stand alone chest strap with a wristband I will test it against.

The machine is smooth, it did seem a little wobbly but I am pushing the weight limit so that is my fat behinds fault, I think. Note there are no moving arms, I was thinking there was, so I was disappointed. It is kind of weird doing an elliptical without using your arms to push yourself harder. I think you could add dumbbells fairly easy though and do some upper body. I would recommend XMark 50 lb. Adjustable Dumbbell I''ve had them for a year or two. Sad they are now collecting dust but they are nice to use. The machine is comfortable and I felt that I did get a good workout in that short time even though I wasn''t moving my arms. I wear a size 14 shoe and my feet fit fine on the pedals.

Overall, I think I will use it and not hang clothes on it like my 5 or 6 other pieces of fitness equipment. It is quiet, fits in front of the TV and isn''t very difficult. Though my legs are killing me right now so I may take that last part back. I did have a conventional elliptical at one time but I didn''t like it because it raised me to close to the ceiling. So in my opinion the recumbent is a big plus for home use. Also, the Airdyne lets off a nice breeze. I am concerned with the blades getting gunked up (pet hair, dust) like a portable fan does. I am not sure if there is a way to take off the cover to clean them.

Best of luck in getting fit!

********

1/20/13... I love this machine! I found it really easy to do a dumbbell workout while I am using it. I do think it is really hard, but I am really out of shape. The recumbent setup is so much better than standing. Also, I received a very nice email from customer service regarding my broken seat back. 2 weeks later (a little slow but it was the 1st of the year so I give them a break) a new seat back arrived on my doorstep. Very impressed with the customer service. I will agree the console is hard to read. I do wish the side bar swiveled in so that I could put it in front of me to read a book.

Buy Schwinn 520 Recumbent Elliptical Trainer (Black) Now

In my opinion the Schwinn 520 can be used by a beginner like myself on up to someone who can really utilize it to max out everything it offers.

UPS brought it into my home and there it sat in the box until it was put together! As stated in the description, it''s heavy! I did not put it together. The instructions suggest two people do it, but one person did it for me in about 2 hours with some exasperating breaks, such as after getting down on the floor underneath the console arm trying to hold it up while putting the screws in oh, and threading the wires through it might take a bit of string to complete that task. That might be where two people could make it much easier. Upon completion, it is a big machine so make sure you have the room for it I just moved furniture around so it could stay in the front room.

The seat was easy to adjust, but I had never sat on anything like it before so that took a bit of getting used to. At first I felt like I was going to fall off! That''s just me, but I didn''t feel as secure as I did on a regular Schwinn exercise bike. And the pedals wow, they are big so that took some getting used to as well. But, I have been using it for several weeks and each time I feel more comfortable on it. I actually like it a lot. I can go slowly which is what I do best considering I am a senior with health issues. It''s easier to get on and off than a regular exercise bike and I don''t feel the strain in my legs that a bike can sometimes cause. I really don''t have to do anything but sit there and push!

I tried using the console, but it just seemed more trouble than I wanted to deal with and it sits in a way that was awkward for me, plus it is hard to read. It''s like looking at a small tablet. Since I am not keeping track of anything or trying to use certain programs, it really doesn''t matter to me if it''s there or not. But, that''s the reason for the 4 stars. This is an expensive, well made machine and is worthy of a larger, easier to read/use console in my opinion.

What matters is that the Schwinn 520 is easy to use and does not require a major effort which is what is important to me. Plus, the fact it is so quiet I can watch tv. I find myself getting on it several times a day if only for a few minutes at a time, but those few minutes mean I am moving my legs which means I am helping my health!

Flexcords Resistance Bands Set includes 6 Exercise Bands

Flexcords Resistance Bands Set includes 6 Exercise BandsFirst of all, these came ridiculously fast. I ordered after lunch on a Weds, and they were on my doorstep Fri morning before 8am. Amazing.

Second, I am very happy with the bands. The grip is comfortable (even when I''m sweaty), and the bands don''t rip the hair off my arms when they rub against me. I am a fairly strong person, and I am able to get some use out of the lightest, more out of the next, and a lot out of the 3rd strongest. I should have have plenty left to go as I get stronger.

Also, I read some reviews on cheaper bands that had a tendency to break at the handle. These have been put through a lot of stress in the last week during my P90x workouts, and they haven''t compromised at all.

The door hook is great too, as I''ve used it to replace the chin-up bar in my videos.

All in all, I would definitely recommend these bands!

I bought the Flexcords set so I could workout when away from home (I have a home gym setup.) They are definitely compact, sturdy, and are a good value for the money.

My biggest complaint, though, and one that truly does knock two stars off of this product, has to do with the handles.

These resistance bands have nylon straps threaded through pieces of black PVC. When attempting to do certain exercises, such as back scratchers or lawnmower pulls, the handles tend to shift in a way that makes the movement being attempted unnatural and, in some cases, downright dangerous.

If you''re looking for bands in order to do the Beachbody Power 90 series, I would recommend looking for bands that have one piece handles. As stated above, the Flexcord handles prevent you from easily executing certain moves, with the two I listed above being a part of the Power 90 circuit training.

I have tried a few of the resistance bands sold at the local box stores. These are better made, and a much better buy! With the many different sizes you definitely won''t run out of options. I started with the green, and have moved to the red band so far. That leaves me two more, and the thick grey one looks like it will be a killer! My wife is still at the first band, so there is something for everyone. How to use them videos can be found all over you tube, so don''t bother buying a dvd. I found a good program online and I can feel the difference already. Quality construction, and the door hook thingy works great. Thanks!

The bands arrived quickly and contained all of the contents as described. The only annoying part was needing to go to the manufacturers website to find out what the resistance was for each band.

The door handle is great for replacing pull ups when beginning P90X. I am a bit out of shape and cannot do more than a few pull ups so I begin my set on the pull up bar and switch to the bands afterward to complete my set. The heaviest band and the door loop are great for this.

The handles on each band are decent, but they tend to slide around a good bit when using them. It is not enough that I feel it bothers me too much; however, I can see how some people would find it rather annoying. Each band having it''s own handles is a huge plus though. Most of the bands I looked at only contained 2 handles for multiple different bands, I would much rather pay a little to not have to switch handles each time I am changing bands.

I got the bands for starting my P90X routine. I am just winding down my second week of the program and 2 of the bands are already beginning to fray. The second and third heaviest bands (blue and red) are beginning to fray near one of the handles. I am rather tall (6''5") so I am not sure if my height is putting extra strain on the bands and taking them to the failure point or if the bands were just poorly designed. The material they are made out of feels like a rather dry rubber so the fraying is not all that surprising to me. When just touching the bands they do not feel much like a high quality elastic I was expecting.

I have contacted the manufacturer to see about getting replacements for the 2 malfunctioning bands.

If they replace the bands free of charge I would be rather pleased as long as the replacements last longer. To be honest though, given the material I do not really expect a replacement product will last much longer. Once I hear back from the company I will update the review with information about the exchange procedures. I wouldn''t recommend these bands unless you don''t have any other solid options. The individual handles are nice, but the durability of the bands is extremely questionable.

These are great resistance bands for the price! I don''t think you''ll be able to find 6 resistance bands set for this price anywhere. There''s no DVD, but I''ve used resistance bands before so I''m completely fine with that. Also, there''s enough resources on the internet to find different exercises or there are other resistance band dvds available. The white cord is very strong and works great for bicep curls. If you''re looking for to get as close to quantity, quality and afforability this is the pack you''re looking for. Excellent value!

Bally Total Fitness Sauna Exercise Suit

Bally Sauna SuitI bought this sauna suit a couple of weeks ago! As soon as I put it right on I felt the heat already working, then after just 5 minutes on the tread mill I was already sweating my butt off...and then after just a 15 minute work out, I took my suit off and it was as if i just came out of a swimming pool, dripping wet....I felt really good knowing that in just a few minutes of a work out, it felt as if I worked out for an hour! I recommend if you wanna lose inches fast, in just two weeks i lost 5 inches off my waist, 4 inches off my thighs, and 2 inches off my arms and 3 incehes off my back & chest.....

I think the color is nice, however, it''s not true to size. It states X-Large, but closer to Small-Med. Price is a little much for the quality. I assumed if the price was a bit higher quality would be too. One thing for sure if you''re looking for a good sweat any of them will do the job. Keep in mind they don''t last long...

As soon as I opened the box and pulled the suit out this is the warning I saw: "This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and/or other reproductive harm." Is using this suit even worth the risks? Not to me. The main reason for me wanting to exercise is for the health benefits. The side effects of this product defeat that purpose. I will definitely be returning it. Bally, please come up with a safer product for your consumers to use.

Spinervals Competition Series 7.0 Uphill Grind

Spinervals Competition Series 7.0 Uphill GrindI have used Coach Troy''s Spinervals sets for years in the off season. This DVD tends to be the one that makes into the player more than the rest. It is a quick 45 minute workout that simulates hill training. There is lots of out of the saddle ''climbing'', which helps break thinsg up for me. I prefer this one comapred to the 24.0 Hill Climb workout and it is a great change of pace from the 1.0 No Slackers allowed.

Highly recommended for casual or avid cyclists. Needs more on technique, but excellent for cardio and interval training. Good for moderate hill training. I use it once a week!

This is one of my favorites of the series. It''s tough, but the time flies by. One star off because it''s a bit dated, the music is kind of ridiculous, and the set is sparse (it looks like they''re hanging out in Discovery One). But that stuff doesn''t matter much when you''re doing the workout.

Isokinetics Inc. Brand Pedal Exerciser

Isokinetics Inc. Brand Pedal Exerciser - Assembled - With Anti-Slip StripsWell, I''ve had mine for about two weeks...suprisingly I actually use it!

First of all, if you are indifferent to exercise equipment (like me) it''s usually a waste of money to buy any of them. But this under the desk type equipment caught my eye while surfing Amazon.com. Fits under the desk/table eh? Small, lightweight, comes assembled?--under twenty bucks.

BINGO!

So I get it, and a set of 10 pound ankle weights. After reading all the reviews, and figuring no matter what happened I could get it to work for me just the way I want it to. It does.

Here is how my theory works. I don''t mind sweating, I don''t mind working--as long as I''m paid for it. Exercise for health--HA! Exercise so I can live longer--HA, HA! (I laugh at the idea). However, wouldn''t it be nice to have something under the desk (just for those few impulses) where I don''t have to set it up or move it out of the way----or ANYTHING?

Yes it would...it sounds like my cup of tea.

I found that after 12 hours on the computer a day, I''d get about one hour exercise on this thing without me resisting the impulse. That''s an hour a day of exercise I wouldn''t have gotten....not bad, right? Right.

So here is my bottom line information.

1. My measurements show the top of the peddle at 12 1/2 inches from the floor (when the peddle is at the top of its stroke).

2. With my leg on it (at the top) it comes in at 30 inches even.

3. The bottom of my computer table is 29 inches. (REMEMBER THIS).

4. The bottom of the peddle (at its lowest position) is 4 1/2 inches from the floor.

So, what does this all mean? Well, it means you are gonna have to push the peddles in front of you some so when your leg is at the top position it won''t hit the table/desk. When I pushed mine out about six inches my knee cap dropped two inches.

Plus, remember those ankle weights? Mine are ten pounds (five pounds each). I found I got a ton of exercise using them...but I also found they were too unconfortable. So, I strapped them to the peddles (five pounds each). Now--you won''t get as much exercise with them on the peddles instead of your ankles.......but you WILL get more exercise with them on the peddles than you would if you didn''t have them.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo all in all, I like this product. I feel it is for those of us who are the walking wounded, or like me--just not into exercise (at all). I recommend it for all of us who sit too much, and also for those of us who spend too much time behind the computer or tv.

Just remember, any exercise beats no exercise.

bye!

I purchased this exerciser for my mother (82 years of age). She absolutely loves it and uses it constantly while sitting in front of the television. Due to hot weather and mosquitoes, she is unable to walk outside, and this little exerciser has more than substituted for her lack of outdoor walks. She also uses it for her arms and is very happy with the results. The Isokinetics Pedal Exerciser is well engineered and constructed for stability. It is not a toy, but a very good piece of exercise equipment. The design, quality and price are all pluses. I am very glad I made this purchase.

Used one every day for a week and it broke. Also, a word of warning: it generates a *lot* of heat when in use. I brushed it after a 20-minute session with a bare ankle and gave myself a first degree burn.

Might be fine if you want something for *very* light duty, maybe for the arms. But if you set this on the floor in front of your couch before a Law and Order marathon, they''re going to be doing a post-mortem on it before the last commercial break

I tried one of these for $9.99 from a different site/seller, and went through 2 of them in 5 weeks (including the time it took to ship the 2nd one out). My money is too tight to pay much more, but I got a refund from them and bought this one. It''s been about 6 weeks, and this one still seems solid. I think the big rubber "feet" on it helps a lot.

It''s needed a dab of oil a couple times to stop squeaking, but that''s no big deal.

I did indeed. It worked so well for me at home I bought a second one for the office, under my desk. This is exactly what I was looking for. A pedal exercise devise that had no fancy gadgets I would not really use and did not want to pay for. It had to be simple and sturdy. This device did all that.

It is small enough to store away and easy to get back out. No struggle as with a heavy product, and not so huge it has to stay set up all the time. Perfect for my needs in a small home.

Though on a day I did leave it out and people came over it was an immediate topic. Each of my nephews, three of them, took a turn and adjusted the tension, loved it! Two of them bought one. They range from obese couch potato to a very athletic and active hockey player. If it works for an old lady as well as those three, it will most likely work for you to.

Everlast Reflex Bag

Everlast Freestanding Reflex BagLength:: 0:29 Mins

I got this bag for my 9 year old son because he has some coordination issues. I wanted him to work eye hand coordination and get some exercise. He really enjoys working out with this reflex bag.

We filled our base with a 50 lb bag of sand rather than water. I figured that it would end up in the house and I didn''t like the idea a flood on wood floors if it leaked. Also that quanity of sand is twice as heavy as the same amount of water. This means the bag will stay upright if it gets hit hard. The play sand that we used had to be dried on a tarp to get it to pour into the opening. When it was damp it had to be forced into the opening and it took a long time to get a small quantity of sand inside. Other than that it was very easy to assemble. Everlast provides a hex key and a cheap stamped out wrench to assemble the bag.

It does unscrew slightly form the base as it is struck. This should not be a deal breaker for you, but something you need to be aware of.

Other reviewers have posted negative reviews must be hitting this bag with powerful blows. From my experience a reflex bag is more for speed and reflex training than power blows. If you want to lay into something with power, get a heavy bag. It will suit you much better.

For our use we are very happy with the bag. I think any kid would really enjoy this as a gift. Dad likes it too, and I like that my son getting some exercise rather than sitting in his room playing with his Nintendo DSi.

We got the Everlast 8 ounce Youth gloves to go with this Reflex Bag. I would recommend them as they offer good wrist support and excellent construction.

Everlast Pro Style 8-Ounce Youth Training Gloves

Update5/26/10: Yesterday one on my son''s friend used a bat on the reflex bag. It is not bat proof. It knocked the bag off. I poured Gorilla glue into the hole and on the post and let it dry with the post pointed up for a day. It seems as good as new.

Update 7/3/10 The bag is better than new. Two kids parties and near daily use and the bag is still firmly on the pole. The Gorilla glue has secured this bag with no sign of wiggle. They should manufactur them like this.

Update 11/8/11 The bag is still on as good as when I first glued it. No wiggle. The unit has been stored on our patio and is starting to rust at the spring and shaft. Nothing that affects the performance. It''s just not that sightly. My son wants a B.O.B. Body Opponent Bag It is a training bag that looks like a torso. $250...ouch.

I disagree with the previous review. I bought this item and have been having fun with it. I''m a serious martial artist weighing 195 lbs and I hammer this thing with punches as hard and fast as I can and it keeps bouncing back. I purchased this to use inside during the winter months. If you want a heavy bag--buy one. This is meant to work speed, and it also gives you a chance to work defensive head movements, since it snaps back at you. For the price, it''s a good value.

Minor complaints, the spring will unscrew slightly as you work it. I just screw it back down afterwards. The construction isn''t heavy duty--but it''s fine for the price.

Buy Everlast Reflex Bag Now

The bag was great at first. The spring makes the reaction speed to the bag fairly slow. My biggest complaint is the bag itself started tearing apart from the inside from impact. Every time I punch it, bits of foam the bag is made of keep falling out of it. I keep thinking my next punch will knock the bag off the pole and then I just wasted $40. Was great until it started falling apart. Might as well pay more for a better bag. I guess you get what you pay for.

My gym has two of these and they both take a beating, are still in great shape. I purchased this for my son, 5''11" & almost 200 lbs after seeing it and he & I both used it at the gym. Not sure about the core workout, but it''s great for dancing around and dodging the blows (it will come back at ya!) It''s fun and does help a lot with the reflexes. It''s not as easy as one may think to hit this bag over and over as fast as it moves. I paired it with a set of Everlast Grappling gloves and there you have it. A fun little work out that MOM and son can do together. Guys looking to throw their weight around should go for the hanging bags.

Want Everlast Reflex Bag Discount?

UPDATE: Like many others, I experienced problems with the foam head. I LOVE this thing and am working on finding a way around the problem. The base is great, the spring is terrific, the pole holds steady... but the top doesn''t stand up to repeated punching. This... despite what I wrote about going easy on it. I still use it regularly and enjoy the added dimension it brings to my boxing routine. But buyer beware -an otherwise tremendous rig has a potentially fatal flaw!

Let me state right off that I feel like a kid on Christmas morning with this thing. All I want to do is keep playing with my new "toy."

Please understand, however, that this is NOT a toy. As a previous shopper for this item, I realize that the number one concern for potential purchasers is build quality. To be honest, I don''t know what Everlast could have done to make it sturdier without doubling the cost.

You just have to know in advance what this unit is meant to do. If you want to wail on it to let your aggression out, buy a heavy bag instead. If you want to work on quickness and timing, then get a speed bag. But if you''re looking to improve your reflexes and don''t have the space to set up a ceiling-to-floor rig, this is far and away the best solution you''ll find for anywhere near the price.

If it helps, I consider the head unit to be a strike zone with imaginary electronic sensors to score my blows. This is not about force, but about accuracy and consistency. I WANT the thing to bob and weave, to provide me a moving target. When I want to pummel, I turn to my MME heavy bag. When I want the rhythm of steady blows, I rip on the speed bag. But for the challenge of hitting a practice opponent who actually moves around, this thing delivers -and is a heck of a lot of fun.

The base, when filled with water, is plenty stable. The spring -the most important piece in the whole contraption -is way sturdier than I expected. The head is not inflatable with a bladder like my speed bag, but made of a foam that seems tough and yet pliable, just what you''d want to do the job.

Yes, there is a screw-down clamp in the middle to adjust the height. If you picture a microphone stand, you''ll get the gist of how the thing lowers and extends to a range of sizes. Aware that some people were having issues with this aspect, I was sure to give that thing an extra turn, and so far, it hasn''t even budged.

I never considered this a punching clown that would hit the floor and bounce back up again. I hit it hard and rhythmically and allow it to bob and weave to challenge me at a variety of angles. This was exactly what I was looking for and I couldn''t be happier with what I got for my money.

Would I buy it again? 100 out of 100 times. I can''t imagine my boxing workout without it.

Before I got into boxing, I couldn''t figure out what all the fuss was about. I live in LA and hear about celebrities doing it for roles and conditioning. But I was content to do Body for Life and P90X as standalones, never thinking that adding a few tools to the toolbox would change everything.

Let me tell you, the best thing it adds is FUN. I look forward to my workouts more than any other time I can remember. And having a heavy bag, a speed bag, and now a reflex bag challenge me in ways that sharpen my focus, drive and energy.

In short, don''t be put off by negative reviews. Know what you''re buying and what the reflex bag was meant to do. If you buy it with those parameters in mind, you''ll be more than happy you did.

It might even make you feel like a kid again -especially with Santa on his way.

Valeo Slimmer Belt with Zippers

Valeo Slimmer Belt with Zippers1. It is one size but only fits to people with 33"+ waist even with the zippers.

2. The belt is thin and smells plastic. I will not allow this belt to touch my skin directly.

3. If you go to sport authority, you will find two very similar belts there with different sizes, one for women and another for men.

4. suggestion: If your waist is more than 33" and you don''t care about the plastic smell, you can try this belt. Otherwise, try something else!

The slimmer belt really does work, it makes my mid section drip sweat when I work out.

con''s:

If you are smaller than a 34" waist you have to have it taken in. I have a sewing machine so this wasnt a problem for me.

The zipper doesnt stay zipped. It works its way open really fast... had to add a button on the top.

I''ve been using this belt for a few months now, about 3-6 times a week and it has been great! I''ve had two other belts that were the velcro type that I used for the same amount of time. Neither of the velcro belts held up as well as this one has. I haven''t had any ripping or any type of wear showing on this zippered belt. I have never experienced any type of smell, and I do rinse it out almost every time I use it. I like that it is wider than the other two velcro belts I owned. The only flaw with this belt, as some other reviewers stated, it is very large and even on the last zipper, was too large for my waist (me being a female). Although it was pretty easy to take off and re-sew one of the zippers to where I needed it. I really do love this belt!

I have had this product for a few months now, used for maybe 30 workouts. rubber is ripping away from seams. also, I have a 35 in waist and I have it on the tightest setting; I would guess this belt would not work well for anyone with a waist smaller than 33".

Material is comfortable but its way too big for me, I will try to stitch it in as the zippers are sturdy and the belt seem as if it will work very well when I''m exercising. The seller need to emphasize the waistlines that this item is made to fit, saying ''fits most sizes'' is not very helpful, if I had noticed this detail before I would not have bought this item.

Women''s Road Runner Sports High-Speed Compression 6'' Short, Color:Black, SThis length of short doesn''t creep up like many of the shorter ones do. I am very happy with my purchase. BTW, I am generally very pleased with anything I purchase from RoadRunnerSport.

Great fabric, moderate compression

Not too low, so no muffin top (I did remove the drawstring, though)

Long enough to protect from inner thigh chafing, but not too long

Nice shaping, no weird bulgy spots

Tiny side pocket for a key

I am 5''5 1/2", 134 lbs, 28 inch waist, 36 inch hips. size medium fits nice, but I could probably get away with small for more compression and maybe a tiny bit of muffin top.

TRX X-Mount

TRX X-Mount(#1 Hall OF FAME REVIEWER)(TOP 10 REVIEWER)Although I personally prefer rip:60 to TRX because they designed the straps so that you can also do a "sawing motion" so that you expand the exercises you can do on it and I think it''s made better for less, I like this mount better than the Rip:60 suspension trainer mount.

This is HEAVY DUTY. It''s not thin metal by any means. The cross X means that you won''t have one metal loop that might not be saudered well that can break away at any time after repeated use. Because there are two metal pieces soldered to the base, you have double strength holding up your body and your suspension training system.

Also this comes with the screws and the rip:60 mount does not. I would never in a million years guessed the size of the screws that came with this...they were the biggest screws I''d ever seen...but I got them in the ceiling stud even though I had to read the directions to know how to use a stud finder...piece of cake.

I wouldn''t enjoy suspension training nearly enough strapped on a door. The very first day I realized the importance of the ceiling mount because I''m encumbered by no walls in my moves. Because I use the workout DVDs to do my routine, I have total 360 degree rotation to be able to watch the DVDs and do the moves at the same time, regardless of what the move is or what direction I need to face...I can move the trainer around easily.

I actually got a metal clamp like the ones that attach the hand straps to the suspension trainer to strap onto this mount, then attach my suspension trainer. You can just attach it the same way it shows you to attach your suspension trainer to a tree branch.

The Rip:60 comes with the door mount free, unlike the TRX, but I think this greatly improves the ease of my workout and gives me more room needed for things like squats or lunges away from walls and doors....and the ability to move about freely if one move requires more room.

I have a ceiling fan in the middle of my workout room but putting it to the side of the fan so blades can whirl while still in use was a cinch.

I would not trust something lighter or not made to hold up human weight to hold me on the ceiling. The screws are made to hold 600 lbs (I''m NOWHERE near that...but I like that it can!) as is the mount. It''s not lightweight. This is heavy duty metal that is double reinforced by two metal mounts.

The suspension trainer can hang in either direction from the X. It doesn''t matter.

If you have a TRX and you want a no-brainer solution for a permanent anchor point, you can''t go wrong with the Xmount. However, it''s a pretty simple piece of hardware. You could probably find something that would work just as well at any local hardware store for half the price. It''s not too expensive though, and I decided it was worth the convenience of ordering a tried-and-true mount with all necessary bolts.

Absolutely sturdy and well designed. I have no fear of this thing ripping off the wall. Works well for what it is.
