This product has lived up to my expectations. I have no problem with this device moving around on the carpet. Then again, I might be using it more casually than others. I just got this as a lazy way of burning a few extra calories as I watch T.V. I do get sweaty from it and my heart rate does go up a bit, it doesn''t replace any of my normal exercising, just adds a little. Okay, who am I kidding, I don''t exercise anymore. My treadmill is collecting dust and is too big and loud to use in the living room. This is better than just sitting on the couch expanding, I suppose. I turned up the tension and yeah it was jerky for the first few spins but then it smooths out. Not sure how long it will last, but I know what I spent and I don''t expect to be driving a lexus/bmw if I paid for a (insert whatever you think a cheap car brand is here, don''t want to insult anyones taste in cars) (okay forget it, I''m going to put it anyway) KIA. The middle gets seriously hot. After watching a couple shows while using it, I picked it up from the middle part. It was so hot it instantly burned my hand, about the same as touching an iron. Yeah, there was that whole science class where they talked about friction but it was so long ago. So be careful with that. This high amount of heat makes me wonder how long it will last.Just know that this is probably about what you would expect to get for the price. It''s good quality materials, doesn''t wobble much, doesn''t make a lot of noise (yet), peddles could be better but they do the job. Don''t expect it to last forever and be perfect and you will most likely get your moneys worth out of it.My husband has found this "ergonometer" to be very useful in his home cardiac recovery program as well as his home physical therapy program after a hip and back injury. I found it to be a great value, excellent quality product which has saved us time and expense since he was able to do more of his rehab in the comfort of our home when he was otherwise very immobile.

I ordered this unit for my 85+ year old Mother with several reservations: (1) Would she actually use it? (2) Is it sturdy enough to avoid mishaps while exercising? (3) And since Mother is such a "NeatNick", could it be easily stowed & retrieved?Answers: (1) She loves it! I am still shocked that she is so tickled with it. I really expected some resistance. (2) Very impressed with construction & stability, for the size & type of unit, it couldn''t be better. (3) The size has proven to be perfect, Mother slides it under the wall side end table, which keeps it handy yet out of sight when idle. This purchase has turned out to be one of the best I have ever made!

Everlast Pink Women''s Grappling Training Glove
I bought these, because I really only needed my knuckles to be padded, and I didn''t want my hands to get so sweaty in the process of my workout.I was looking for a pair of boxing gloves that protected my knuckles without the addition of wraps. I had a basic foam pair, but even with wraps I still ended up with bloody knuckles. These protect my wrists and knuckles without wraps and are a perfect fit for my larger female hands.

I did a lot of research before ordering these gloves. I was so excited about the pink boxing gloves until someone mentioned finger length. That had never crossed my mind, but I have fingers like a tree frog, so I turned my attention to these. I was hesitant because they look flimsy, however when I got them and put them on I felt perfection. Excellent support in the wrist, firm and adequate cushioning to keep your hands from hurting on impact or being sore the next day, but not so much as to make you clumsy. A bonus, you can still use your fingers of you need to change the radio station or send a quick text. Absolutely a recommend!Read Best Reviews of Everlast Pink Women''s Grappling Training Glove Here
Had a hard time finding grappling gloves that didn''t have reviews complaining about the size being off. I could only find these in small/medium or large/x-large. People with small hands were saying the small/medium were too small and to go a size bigger. So that''s what I did and they are a bit too big. On another product, I saw someone recommend getting wrapping tape and buying bigger gloves so you could make them fit. I did buy the tape and will see how that goes. The gloves are a little stiff, hoping that works out with use. The quality seems pretty good too. I don''t see anything glaringly obvious that would suggest a problem.
FYI, my review rating is based on the quality of the gloves, not the size/fit. If I had gone by the chart, a small/medium is probably what I needed and it is my own fault for listening to the reviews. However, on the other hand, fellow reviewers may be right about buying bigger and making them fit with tape.
I haven''t tested the gloves yet (hope to tonight) and if they feel like the stiffness will work out, then I will up them a star. If there is something wrong with them after I use them, I will come back and adjust the rating.

These are great! Very sturdy and comfortable-but a little stiff. If you plan on using them for any sparring, I recommend you break them in a bit first. The color is fabulousand I get comments every time I wear them (typically from the guys who would HATE to get clobbered with PINK gloves! LOL)Minotaur Fitness X-treme Indoor Cycling Bike (HP-SP0810-1PJ)
The bike looks very nice, and doesn''t look cheap at all. It "rides" nice, with very little play or movement. Overall, well-made. When assembling, remember that one of the pedals is left-hand thread. The instructions don''t mention this, and it''s been years since I fooled around with bikes and I just plain forgot. It took me an hour figuring this out till I had my "duh!" moment. In the $500.00 price range this is an excellent deal for a spinning cycle; much, much better than the ones we saw at the local sporting goods stores. Hopefully it will last. If it doesn''t I''ll add to my review, but so far so good.
I gave the bike a 5 star because at the $500.00 price point it is an excellent deal. At the $8-900.00 range it would probably rate 4 stars, mostly because the shock absorber doesn''t really add to the riding experience. It needs to be better designed and more adjustable. And at the higher price point one would expect a spinning bike to handle a rider taller than 6 ft easily. But, all things considered, for $500.00 I''d buy the bike again.I ordered this as a Christmas Present to myself after taking a beginner Spinning class at the Gym. This bike is well constructed and quiet. Very easy to set up and start using. Get this bike you will not be disappointed.

Other than that, my husband and I have had great work outs on the machine. The tension knob is not numbered, but it tells you to twist left if you want less tension, and twist right if you want more. This is not calculated into your calories burned, which is another downside. However, I know the amount of tension I am comfortable with and as long as I get my hour in every day around a certain pace, I feel great about my work out.
It is definitely worth the great price! We bought this bike (our second) for a small+light workout bike to place in front of the TV. I have to say that I am terribly disappointed with it.
For starters, it is a tiny bike. The seat is probably just 14-16 inches off the ground. Which means that even a medium-height person will find it difficult to sit on the bike without getting their knees jammed into the front console. Next, is the feel. It feels light and flimsy in general. While i would not expect a cheap bike like this to feel sturdier, this feels especially light.
But my biggest gripe is about the tension adjustment. It is NON-existent. When we set up the bike, there was no tension, even at the maximum level, so, we opened up the bike and readjusted everything (really, just a wire that goes into the console). While the tension went up marginally, it could not be adjusted at different levels. This results in a very very dissatisfying ''workout,'' if you can call it that. More like sitting and waving your legs.
This is the kind of bike you should never buy. Not on a budget, not because you need a small bike etc. In my opinion, something like the Marcy Recumbent Magnetic Cycle is probably much better, although just a few dollars more. I have that and am very pleased with it so far.
This bike, on the other hand, is just a big mistake that is now just sitting in my family room, annoying me.

Very easy to assemble, wonderful performance, comfortable seat, easy to use, and quality of the material.I love using it in the morning (not evening, because I noticed it''s hard for me to fall asleep after the exercise). It''s very good for the knees.
This bike is adjustable you can control the tension and adjust the bike size to your height (make the bike shorter of longer). And, it''s not huge, you can keep it in any room it doesn''t take much space.
I''d recommend this bike to everyone! The big advantage is you can use it any time, in any weather, unlike the regular bicycles (I don''t mean it''s better, but more convenient for people who don''t spend much time outdoors).

Not too hard to assemble. Good for shorter people. I''m 5''1" and don''t have it adjusted all the way forward. Not sure how it would be for taller folks. The tension does not tighten very much. 10 Minute Solution
You do have some choice of aerobic games (which have nothing to do with cardio boxing) as well as some core work.
I am not impressed with this ''game''. I would rather work out with a fitness DVD; at least it would be more effective.I was disappointed with this game. I thought it would be a better workout like EA sports active. The music is poor, the moves are slow and too much stopping between sessions. Gold''s Gym is a better cardio boxing and GG records your movements better than this does. Maybe after I use it more and get through all the workouts I will like it better, but right now it is a disappointmentThe game doesn''t track well with your movements, making it frustrating to use. Spend a little more and get the EA Sports Active-More Workouts--which is well worth the cost.
Read Best Reviews of 10 Minute Solution Here
As most people know, 10 Minute Solution is a highly popular set of DVDs where you can start and finish a complete exercise routine in 10 minutes. The DVDs each feature an attractive fitness expert on a mat demonstrating different aerobic workouts to you, shouting out instructions and encouragement each step of the way.I''ll start off by saying that fans of the DVD series expecting a similar experience may be a little disappointed. 10 Minute Solution for Wii seemed to eschew the formula that made the DVDs so popular. Instead of an intimate one-on-one training session with an instructor, it feels like the standard kind of Wii fitness game we''ve seen before, where you just perform a series of repetitious actions with your balance board or Wii remotes to on-screen cues.
As with many games, there is an on-screen "instructor" who''s mainly a shadowy figure in the background, not an active instructor as in the videos. You can choose from "male or female" voices and even "helpful or bossy", but at the end there''s not much personality, just the standard repetitious "way to go!" type encouragement endemic to these kinds of games.
So I suspect that most of the negative reviews here are from fans of the 10 Minute Workout series who were expecting more of the "personality" of the DVD series comes to through in the game.
But having said that, I''ll be focusing my review of the game strictly on its merits as a fitness and exercise game. And in this area, it is a very solid title.
Much like My Fitness Coach, you can select a male or female trainer, music from a set list of generic tunes, and the environment you''ll be working out in (you can choose from a Chinese courtyard, Venice, a Japanese tea garden, a beach, a middle eastern palance, and a gym). The graphics are very well done, and I appreciate the subtle details that help keep the exercise interesting (such as a plane flying outside the window of your gym).
There are basically two different varieties of exercises you can do with your virtual trainer: cardio boxing or step aerobics. For each, you can choose from six different workouts ranging from simple (one star) to advanced (three stars). You''ll find the one-star exercises are far too easy; you hardly break a sweat. On the other hand, when I did the three-star exercises, I got a great aerobic workout, complete with sweating, increased heartrate, and a great feeling afterwards.
There is also a category called "mixed games" which allows you to control your on-screen character in one of four sports simulations: volleyball, badminton, catching a frisbee, or fighting with pugil sticks. As with games like EA Sports Active and The Biggest Loser, you''re not really playing the sport itself--you''re performing a series of cardio boxing or step aerobic moves, and if you hit the moves precisely your on-screen character performs the sports task.
Each exercise is precisely 5 minutes each, so you basically put together your own 10 minute workout each day by choosing two exercises from the sixteen choices.
Until now, Wii Fit has been the one step aerobics title that uses the balance board. This is one area where this game shines. The three-star step aerobics has you doing lunges, squats, and fast-moving splits that are far more complex and a faster pace than in Wii Fit, and all clearly demonstrated with animated footprints on a small image of the balance board.
As far as the boxing, the game has you doing crosses, hooks, jabs, and uppercuts at a really quick pace. As with Gold''s Gym Cardio, a series of icons will scroll upwards, and you need to perform the boxing move when the icon hits a little square. But it surpasses it in a couple ways: the three-star routines can be much more intensive than anything Gold''s Gym has, and unlike Gold''s Gym the beat of the music actually matches your punching (what a concept!). I also like the fact that you can use two Wii remotes instead of a nunchuk--this makes your movements much, much more accurately. I''ve read that a lot of people are having trouble registering the moves, but as long as I''ve used two Wii remotes and made broad, exagerrated movements, I haven''t had a problem.
One of the things I like most about this game is its simplicity. A lot of other games try to stuff in a bunch of fillers and nonsense, such as recipes and dressing up the on-screen characters, all to justify a higher price tag. With 10 Minute Solution for Wii you have three choices from the startup screen: an instant workout (which picks a 5-minute workout for you randomly), a custom workout (where you can pick and choose two 5-minute workouts to make one 10-minute workout), and a fitness plan (where you can mix and match activities for each day of the week for anywhere from a 5-minute to a 30-minute workout each day). I applaud Activision for not being tempted to stuff gimmicks in, and for making the list price a very affordable $19.99.
Again, be sure to go in with the right expectations: it''s not like the DVD series, and it''s not a $59.99 game. As long as you don''t compare it to either of those, you have a pretty solid and very affordable Wii fitness game to add some variety to your workout routines.
NEW INFORMATION: I just learned that Activision has set up a YouTube channel at which features cover model and fitness guru Jessica Smith demonstrating the proper form for the types of exercises in the game. To me, this is what the game was missing. If you do get the game, watching these videos is highly recommended.

I was very excited when I saw the preview for this game... The price was right too. I popped it in and noticed the graphics are a bit well, cheap. I started my first work out of step aerobics and really enjoyed it. Then it moved on to cardio boxing. What a clunky, poorly made game. It barely recognized moves, and if you don''t do a move correctly during the demonstration it makes you do it over and over and over and over and over againuntil the game feels you''ve done it properly...which would be fine if I was actually doing the move incorrectlybut againthe game doesn''t recognize movement the way it should. I figured I would just do the step which is what I got it for anyway...yeah..how I wish.. It has a "squat" move in it which for whatever reason it doesn''t think I do it right, it''s a squat.. I''ve done it on the wii board, off the wii board..it doesn''t care..refuses to recognize that I''ve done it. I''m done with this game, It''s going on Ebay tomorrow. I''d rather do the boring step aerobic "class" & cardio boxing on EA Sports and Wii Fit Plus for 20 minutes.. the graphics, music and recognition is far better. This game does have a lot of potential..they need to do a lot more work on it..

AFTER a few months of having this product it became the main attraction for lint. I did not like that at allBought this for my husband when he is playing raquetball. I think he looks like a douche but he likes it.Savasa Yoga Mate
It fit into the wash machine very nicely, and was not a burden on the load as a regular towel full of sweat would have been. But the problems started after the drying, when, despite using a low-heat cycle, the Yoga Mate shrank to near 75% of its original size--no longer fitting over the mat, and certainly not allowing for the wide-leg poses of the standing Bikram session.
I think I''ll go back to towels, sure they are wasteful, but they do work. The concept here is good, but the materials just aren''t up to snuff.

Accelerator Run Watch
The screens are rather intuitivejust press the Esc/Light button to get to any screen, then cycle through the screens with the two buttons on the right. Finally, you select what you want with the Mode button. What you cannot figure out, just call the 800 number and an employee will quickly and cheerfully talk you through what you need.
If you just walk for fitness, or like to go out running in new terrain, and want to know your distance (and your speed + lots of other information), for the price, this watch cannot be beat.I spend hours agonizing over what watch to purchase, and eventually went with this one because it had the best reviews. However, most of them still didn''t tell me what I was wanting to know. Is this a good watch for someone training for a serious run? The answer I have found to be yes. A lot of people talked about it being too complicated, but I disagree. It is like an new piece of equipmentstudy the manual and follow it. You''ll be fine. Mess around with it until you feel comfortable navigating through the screens. Once you have calibrated it (to do this you do need to map out a running/walking route of .40 miles, the watch does not automatically stop once you have reached this distance. It is crucial that you are precise because this is how the watch tracks your distance from then on.) It is wonderful because you get to customize your display for while you are running/walking. Mine shows my calories burned, distance, and time into the exercise. There are several other options as well. I have found it to be pretty accurate distance wise. It is not designed to be worn for an all day pedometerit functions best when used during workouts. Can be worn just as a watch, and has a sleep mode for when you no longer need it to conserve battery. Overall a very good purchase for the money. Great watch for runners. This watch is perfect for what I wanted/needed it for. I took up running and I needed a way to tell how many miles I had gone and also my time. I love too that I can see how many calories I have burned, and even can use it just as a basic pedometer. I don''t think I calibrated it correctly though, so I may need to refigure that, the directions on how to calibrate it were quite vague. All in all i think it''s a great watch for many people!I wanted a very basic watch to track lap times for my exercise runs and 10Ks. I was intrigued by the watch''s accelerometer to measure distance. But mostly, I wanted something simple with a very clear display. I''ve had the watch for a little over a month and so far, it''s just average. The display is REALLY hard to read when you''re running since it''s a bubble instead of a flat screen. And it''s plastic so it can fog up. Not really happy about that. And the menu is very non-intuitive so you have to do more button pushes than normal just to move between the Time and Chrono features. All in all, I regret not buying a simpler Timex Ironman but I''m ok with this watch for the price ($48)i needed a sports watch to track my distance and time. this watch is easy to use and the numbers are big enough to see just by glancing at my wrist. i am very happy with it.

Polar RS300X G1 Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Orange)
A couple notes that didn''t keep me from giving it 5 stars, but just to keep in mind:
1. The orange is MUCH brighter than on my screen. Think, street construction cone orange. It''s much more neon orange.
2. The G1 GPS Sensor is AWESOME on most days. I recently ran with it on a very cloudy/rainy day and it completely lost track of the signal. I haven''t used the footpod, so can''t compare, but I may end up buying it for use on cloudy days.I''m a beginner athlete when it comes to monitoring heart rate and calories burned... I bought this watch due to design and ease of use. My biggest disappointment stems from the fact that the watch and HR strap stop communicating while I''m exercising... so I lose the HR and the calorie count is off. The signal re-connects at different times but I end up losing part of the workout. I have the strap tight and positioned correctly, and always wet the sensor area prior to using. Not sure if this is a common problem with all monitors, but has been extrememly frustrating for me.

I bought this watch for my wwife. It''s a good watch if you can get over the color. It''s definitely not a fashion statement but it does measure heart rate and distances traveled accurately. The only flaw I have noticed is that it does not display the time of day while in exercise mode. I also use the footpod with this watch and it has been a great tool for the times I run on a treadmill.Read Best Reviews of Polar RS300X G1 Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Orange) Here
I bought the RS300X HR monitor with the GPS sensor for my outdoor runs and I love it. The initial setup was quite simple although there are some features that I just left off such as the HR alarms because as soon as you are outside the HR zone the beeping becomes a distraction. Sometimes I want to be in a specific heart rate zone but for long runs is not always possible. While running in trails you might actually run longer distances than what the RS300X records because the GPS will approximate the route using the closest readings available. So if you ran a curvy trail under trees cover the unit is going to estimate a straight line between the last reading before entering the covered area and the first reading after leaving the covered area.
This unit supports a single user profile so if you are planning to share it with your spouse or friend you would be required to change the user profile every time. In my case, I share my RS300X with my wife but because we are the same age I just don''t change the profile at all between uses. But I believe this would be a good feature for Polar to implement in the next generation of the RS300X HR monitor particularly for families that want to share the HR among its members.
Finally, it is true that the GPS sensor could go through a set of batteries in a week depending on how often you run and leave the unit working. I have noticed that with a set of new high quality alkaline batteries I can get around 12 to 15 hours of operation.
Want Polar RS300X G1 Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Orange) Discount?
I''ve only had the watch a couple of weeks and so far so good. I''m a bit of a wimp, so getting the chest strap wet before putting it on is friggin'' cold. I''ve worn it swimming... awesome. Worn it running, the arm band GPS was not distracting or nuisance. Worn it biking on the trainer for heart rates, can''t wait till spring to get out on the roads and track my rides. Love the way you can change the display to show the info in the format that works best for you. I''ve not had any accuracy issues with distance and it hasn''t yet fallen off the grid from lack of connection. Of course, there aren''t many big trees on the mesas in Colorado to mess with it. There is an annoying alarm that goes off if you are above or below your target heart rates, but I can see that as a benefit.... I just need to find out how to turn that off, cuz it drives me crazy. Love the ORANGE color. It''s exciting to put on, and adds excitement to the workouts because I feel like I''m able to really hone in on my goals and know the results of my perceived output. I''m learning so much about my physiology and adding much more purpose and intent to each workoutASICS Men''s Hooded Sweatshirt
Main reason for leaving this review is to note that these appear to run LARGE. I usually go with a large for most hoodies but bought a medium given another review and price difference. Glad that I didn''t get the large! The medium is bigger than most large sizes that I''ve had.
Bottom line I''d buy another. The Asics hooded sweatshirt has instantly made it to the top of my Sunday morning/afternoon wardrobe. It''s super comfortable. But it is HEAVY....which it should be since, duh, it''s a sweatshirt. I like the fact that Asics did not cheap out on the materials...don''t be fooled by those $10 fleece sweaters at Old Navy or those $25 NCAA/NFL hoodies you see everywhere. This one is different...it''s much, much better. The cotton is thicker and more dense, and the color does not fade after use.
Now, if I could just keep it away from my girlfriend and sisters...Bought this on sale when it was only $15 and wasn''t expecting much. However, the quality of the hoodie is excellent and it''s very warm and comfortable. The one problem I had with it is that the sizes run a bit large. I was aiming for a more tighter/snug fit with this so I ordered an extra small but it''s easily a small and maybe even a medium compared to hoodies from a different brand. The length was perfect but it was very loose (I''m about 5''7" , 140 lbs to give you a general idea of the fit).

I''m very happy with these weights, they aren''t too light or too heavy. It''s a great addition to the wii for exercises. I don''t see why regular weights wouldn''t work though, if you could get them cheaper. There really isn''t anything that makes these specific to the wii that I''ve seen.Sand filled ankle weights. They are 3 pound pair, or 1.5 pound each. They are short, so that the velcro fastener will be on part of your ankle as opposed to covering the weight. They also work on your wrists. Comfortable, unless the velcro fastener rubs your ankle. Wear socks, and don''t tighten too tight, but not too lose either or they will rub up and down while you wear them giving you rug burn. I actually was looking for some lighter ankle weights, but these will work okay. The seem on the velcro is not sewn with a stronger stitch, but a straight stitch. It did not come apart on the first use, but you can resew it with an box stitch with X pattern.I purchased these Wii Ankle/Wrist Weights to use when doing ''Free Run'' and ''Free Step'' on the Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board. They''re a simple design with a single, highly adjustable Velcro strap that holds them securely in place. Just this little bit of extra weight on my wrists makes for a more rigorous workout, engaging my upper body more fully. I plan to purchase a second set so I can wear them on both my ankles and wrists.
